What precious memories here. This is just lovely. Mary, I've decided that you're a Time Lord. I just can't think of any other way that you're able to upload so regularly. However you do it, thank you. You are definitely one of my very favourite ASMRtists!

I absolutely love this video! I have a cedar chest and several other boxes full of similar stuff. This has inspired me to go through everything and maybe put notes about each item's history and sentimental reasons I kept it.

I love this video. It took me back to my very first ASMR experiences, when my grandma would pull things out of her cedar chest (from Switzerland) that were all wrapped up meticulously. She showed them to me one by one, & described it to me in detail, and a very soft, soothing voice. She had needlepoint, and knitting, photos, figurines & all kinds of special things that she would explain to me and show them to me. Her voice would always put me in an ASMR trance. Thank you for making this video!

I love this Mary when you share special things from your childhood. I was born in 1972 so I can relate to a lot of this. I am also a very nostalgic person. I tried to tell stories about my childhood to my husband but he does not have that same kind of nostalgia. My brother however has an identic memory so he can remember every single thing about his whole life like an autobiographical memory. I love to talk to him about our childhood because he remembers everything as if he's looking at a picture. It's amazing. He also remembers everything he has ever seen or read. And he's never gotten rid of anything so he has some really cool things from the 70s and 80s and even further back

Those crochet decorations your Grandma made are so lovely! They'd look gorgeous hanging on a a Christmas tree, I love how back then everyone made their own stuff and had the skills to do so. It makes everything so much more precious.

The crocheted Christmas wreath is so beautiful. I wish women still wore pins like this on their coats during the Christmas season!

I'll always cherish my memories I have of my childhood and now that my father has passed, having his memories in my closet to show my son are even better. Nostalgia has a sweet smell but a slight sting in my heart. It's a trip I often take and shed a tear every time!

Thank you for sharing these precious items with us. I absolutely adore vintage baby fashions. I dressed my youngest daughter in vintage baby clothing up until she grew out of them. They are now in a chest for her when she’s older.

Mary, please get your mother to tell you about her mother’s items in the chest before it is too late. I regret not doing this with my mother’s memorabilia. Now I’ll never know the stories behind the names and items she cherished.
