Would Huda Beauty setting powder work under eyes for older woman? I can't find something not drying. I have mineral veil but to moisturizing for under eyes.
I would recommend the cover fx for more mature skin! It's the most hydrating out of the bunch but it still gives you that matte/brightening effect you want with a setting powder
@@CristinaCalandra so you think I can set my undereyes without my eyeliner running? I think maybe it could be may eyecream. But since using born this way concealer my undereyes makeup moves down. I have been using mineral veil under eyes. It looks fine just my eyeliner moves.
@@LorraineParis1 I'm obsessed with the tf born this way concealer and it's never ruined my eyeliner! Neither has my setting powder.. What eyeliner are you using??
@@CristinaCalandra I think it could be putting to much eye cream. I never had that problem till I use born this way concealer. I used to use shape tape. I use mostly Kat von d lip liners. They work really good my waterline. I use on top too.
@@LorraineParis1 maybe use less eye cream and give it more time to soak in/set. Also you could be using too much concealer. Try using less (unless your already using a very small amount obv.) And make sure it isnt sticky after you set with power. See if that makes difference. Goodluck 😊
Hey! Thanks so much for sharing this. I've been so lost about this because if I don't use powder, my makeup doesn't stay on. So I really appreciate your video. You were really thorough with the information. I subscribed! Wishing you success!
Hey beautiful, what equipment are you using? I mean lights, camera, screens or filters for light and backdrop etc. want to start my own channel but need to make sure my setup looks professional 😁
I had to scour the internet for this comment😂 I'm wearing it for the first time, and it's ok looking but my face feels so dry! I can't imagine using it every day! Taking it back!
It works great for my dry skin! Its a very versatile power and can work great with both dry and oily skin if you prime correctly and use hydrating foundation.. but everyone's skin is different! ❤ Happy you liked my other recommendations 👍
Hi! New subbie here. Have you tried the Hourglass veil translucent powder? I heard it’s amazing for dry skin. I just got the Laura Mercier powder and have only used it twice. Still figuring out how to make it work for my dry skin.
Yes!! I just picked up the Hourglass powder last week and I have been loving it for my under-eyes since they are super dry. The trick with making the Laura Mercier power work is to use a super hydrating base (i.e. a hydrating moisturizer, primer, & foundation) before going in with the power and not using a lot of it! It's still hands down my favorite power 👍
I tried the hourglass and didn't have much luck. Def preferred the Laura mercier. Try applying with damp beauty sponge. Press it into the power and then press the excess off on the back of your hand (pounce it a few.times ) then apply by pressing to the face. When you need more go to the back of your hand first to pick up the excess. Works great!
The number 1 setting powder for dry skin ever is the L’Oréal hydra powder ! Only found in Walmart
omg I need to try it out! Thanks babe!
Thanks @megan meganm
Does anyone know where to get it from in UK?

I was using air spin for years. Recently I bought a new one and it’s so overly fragrant irritated my eyes and allergies.
Try nars light reflecting translucent powder the pressed version or loose i prefer pressed (and or) the hourglass veil translucent powder ♥
I have dry skin, should I get loose powder? I was thinking about the Laura mercier one.

Laura mercier is TERRIBLE for dry skin. It sucks the life out of dry skin. What are you talking about? The other four are great though!👍

It depends on what primer you use especially! This powder really works for dry and oily skin from what I seen/heard.
Same
