I relate to that professor story. For my marketing class, we had a project where we had to create a new product for an existing company, and write up a marketing and business plan for it. I chose Nintendo, and basically pitched the idea of the switch. The professor gave me a zero, and said that my product was too unrealistic. Every time I see an article about how successful the switch has been for Nintendo, I wish with all my heard that my professor from back then sees it and feels stupid for what she did. I did not deserve that zero! My product idea was so realistic they actually ended up fucking making it! She should feel bad for being such a bad teacher.
