Hi! Thanks for the video. I have a question: in this HP 15 model where is the CMOS battery located? I have the HP model 15-DA0018NP and I have a CMOS checksum error on boot.
Do you know how to get laptop off of black screen after it did a bios update power comes on but black screen I have a hp 15dw1083 looks pretty similar to this & same battery
Thanks for the video, my 15.6 laptop stopped turning on so I used my buddys charger for the same model and it still didn’t work, so I think it’s internal. I was able to open it up and noticed what looked like heat marks on the bottom plastic when I took it off. I matched it up to where it would’ve made contact and nothing seemed out of whack. Are heat marks abnormal or relatively common
Hi! Great video, really well done but I have two questions. My laptop came with a M.2 NVME drive and I'd like to upgrade it adding a solid state drive, so i bought a SATA connector with his flat cable (mod. L52024-001) and of course a 2.5" SSD. Now I'm looking for the SSD mounting bracket but can't find it. Can you please help me? Then I have a problem with the ALT GR key that sometimes does not work and I have to beat it many times to wake it. Is it possible to do something without replacing the entire keyboard? Thank you very much
I have a 15-dw laptop, the speaker and audio jack stopped working at the same time. it's not a software issue. What then? The audio jack is is on a separate panel not on the main hard drive. the laptop doesn't recognize either of them, when I troubleshoot it says to plug them in. but they are. Can you help?
where is the COSMOS battery located in this particular laptop or does it even have one. or can you show me how to do an BIOS reset o this particular laptop.
does this laptop has the same motherboard of 15-dw0053nl? I have 512 ssd on mine and would like to add another hdd or ssd, do you think it is possible?
Are you sure this is the correct model number? I just bought one and when I opened it up it was completely different. There was only one ram slot and no fan. There isn't even a fan connector. It is set up for passive cooling. There are spaces and connection traces on the motherboard for a second ram slot and fan connector but no actual components.
What's the point of the blue rubber gloves? Do you have hideous hands? Much better without the gloves, they aren't big or clever to be honest and they make me feel queasy and remind me of the covids.
After looking for a disassembly guide to replace my broken hinge on the exact same model, I finally found one. Thanks and great video.
You are welcome

hello! Do you have a suggestion as to what should be used for the adhesive for the rubber feet when putting everything back together? Thank you !

Thank you very much. Able to solve my black screen problem
You are welcome. Glad the video helped
How do you replace the cmos if it is giving you problems

Is that an m.2 nvme expansion slot next to the fan?
Yes. at 6:21 is where I explain about 2.5" SSD and M.2 NVME
@@UbergeeksBiz I'm not hearing you say anything about nvme or m.2 slot. I also wonder if that is what's my fan.

No CMOS. They run off main battery
are there any mods than can be done to this laptop to run like a beast not gaming level but pretty damn close 2 that
Definitely upgrade the HDD to SSD. That would speed things up by A LOT. amzn.to/3KGk2eG
can you remove the i3-CPU?
Thank you, bro! this video helped a lot..

I have hp 15-dw3000nk intel core i3 11th .What should I do to develop a processor that looks different from others?

@@UbergeeksBiz What if I replaced the motherboard?
Is that a m.2 in front of the keyboard cable? It's sits at a angle.

@@UbergeeksBiz Great and thank you for your help.Great videos also.
Does the laptop need to be dead before you mess with anything inside the computer
You can disconnect the battery before messing it around
I need help with a new hard drive

2:05 maybe can match my laptop model.
I dislike how I really have to remove the rubber bottom of the laptop, It would mean it lose its adhesive during time. Am I not wrong?
Yes.
Where is CMOS battery in this motherboard
No CMOS. Runs off main battery
