While the London special did fix some of the issues I had with that ending, I will never forgive them for not having Cat Noir fight in the final battle Not only because we'll never get proper payback from the main villain being the parent of one of the protagonists, but also because throughout the whole show (specially in the finales) we've been told that it's THEM against the world, Ladybug AND Cat Noir, and then they go and basically erase Cat Noir from the final battle that they'd been hyping up FOR YEARS?
The SpongeBob reference with the piano was so perfect! I was not expecting that! Also the part with Andy singing killed me I laughed so hard 😂. Another 10/10 video! I enjoyed the finale. It was a rollercoaster and a lot happened. However, I agree that it should have had Chat Noir. You’re right that the final battle with Monarch we pictured was with both of them. And this was like Endgame with everyone fighting except him! And the ending was pretty confusing. And it felt final, even though we know there’s more. I’m curious to see where they go from here.
My biggest problem with this ending is that Gabriel made his wish. As much as it seems like a shocking and cool thing that they made the finale so unpredictable because everyone always thought that he would lose, it makes the entire story up until now completely worthless. The whole 5 seasons mean nothing now because ever since day one, we've been told there's 2 consequences to making the wish. First, you would have to sacrifice something in return. And second, the biggest one, the one we've been told about since day 1. The entire universe will end. In order to rewrite everything and make a new universe, where the wish can come true. We have seen this time and time again with the end of the universe always being that weird white ball that spreads through the entire universe. We saw it in ephemeral and cat blanc too. And now in this finale as well and THAT was the reason we have been fighting relentlessly to stop the villain from making this wish. Because the universe will literally end. And everyone will die. In order for a new universe to take it's place. Everytime Gabriel actually made the wish, bunnx would come in and take marinette back in time to stop this. Because as bunnx says "it's a disaster from the universe's perspective" that's what the time miraculous is usually used for. We can't mess with time, UNLESS there's a disaster from the universe's perspective. Like the entire universe getting destroyed in order for a new one to be built. We have seen Gabriel make his wish in other timelines but we would always go back in time to stop it from happening because it was just that big of a disaster. We literally COULDN'T let it happen. Even if it required using the time miraculous. So what was different this time? Seriously? If he made his wish in other times but we went back in time to undo it, then why not now? What was different this time? And also this means that all of our characters and everyone in the show is dead right? Because they have been saying it since season 1. The universe will end and a new one will be built. So that includes the living creatures there too right? So all our characters are now dead and have been replaced with copies of themselves with the same memories and bodies as their past selves? And if not, if "the universe ending and being rebuilt" doesn't really matter at all and the people won't die and it doesn't matter whatsoever then what were we here for for 5 seasons? Why were we trying so hard to stop Gabriel from making this wish? Why did we have to sit and watch this for 9 years for nothing? Was the goal really that worthless? 5 seasons and 5 movies for literally nothing? I cannot put into words how mad and sad this ending made me. It felt like all the time I spent watching this show was truly worthless. I'm sorry. I know literally no one is gonna read this since it's so long. This is probably the longest comment I've ever written but I seriously needed to get this out somewhere because I've been going insane over this ever since I watched this finale. I know it's stupid but this ending made me literally so distraught in a way that I couldn't possibly tell you. It was actually painful for me. I think I hated this ending more than literally anyone else did. I've seen people like this fact about the ending. That he made his wish. And I do get that it's really unpredictable henceforth seems really cool and unique but it makes the entire show from day 1 pointless. This ending has made this show truly irredeemable for me. I'll give this show one thing, it has the capability of making me feel things that nothing and no one in this entire universe can. In the worst way possible. Again, sorry for the full blown essay. I just needed to get this out of my system.
I had it in my head that maybe this wish was different, that only after reaching this point in his life with his death approaching and all his losses behind him was he willing to pick a sacrifice rather than leave it to fate, and to choose himself as that sacrifice making a wish that actually helps people. Every other attempt in the past would have been much more selfish and caused considerable damage as a result. But you are right. Even if that is the case, even if these last 5 seasons were to lead us to the one good wish, that doesn't change that the universe ended for it and that should still go against everything Bunnix has told us in the past. Everybody died as did all of time and space. It doesn't matter if it was reborn "better" with everyones new selves being gifted their old memories, everything still died. I don't even thing they got their memories back un altered or the changes to the Universe wouldn't make sense. At the very least, everything from the moment Emily used the Peacock is now different. That means nobody outside of Marinette is the same. Her friends don't exist, just creepy new ones that might be quite different to what she remembers.
@@allygamer0183 Well, I guess it's possible NOT to rebuild the whole universe if the user specifically doesn't want it to be rebuilt. Like Gabriel's wish was just to trade his life for Nathalie's (at least that's what the kwamis tell in the London special). Although, it's possible everything from the "old" world was just copied over, there's no way to tell the difference. Basically, what the writers are trying to tell us (this also becomes more apparent in the recent special) is the effort was actually for something, as Mari convinced Gabe to change his wish and actually sacrifice himself instead of "anyone but them" and give up on the "perfect couple" bs. And (according to the writers) this was Gabriel's redemption. Well, can't really say I agree.

The universe would be rebuilt AND you also have to sacrifice something. Was it ever stated in the show or did one of the writers say it? Either way, if this is true, then that would be very comforting to know that at least these characters aren't all dead. I get that "you can't tell the difference even if the universe did end and was rebuilt" but since the start of the story, we were told this REALLY matters and was the whole reason they weren't letting him get the miraculous. And also, the characters, even if they are exact same copies of our old characters, still aren't the same people. Our characters would have still died and nothing can bring them back now. So I really hope you are right about it being possible that the universe didn't get rebuilt. If it was possible, then they should've explained that in the show earlier. Also yes, you are definitely right in the second paragraph because he probably would've sacrificed a random innocent person if he had gotten hold of the miraculouses in the earlier seasons instead of himself. I still don't get how that warrants the use of the time miraculous back then and not that because someone dying isn't a disaster from the universe's perspective. But yeah honestly your right, the effort wasn't completely for nothing. I was wrong about that. And same I can't agree that Gabriel is redeemable either. He definitely does not deserve to be remembered as a hero.

LONDON SPECIAL SPOILERS I HATE the ending scene of the special with ladynoir SO MUCH. Because i can no longer stand the pretending of Adrien/Chat Noir actually mattering as a character. He could be a useful object everyone would have wanted and nothing drastic would have change, because he not only is not allowed to be able to cause an impact on the story as a person in universe or as a character, but he is not allowed to even KNOW anything even though it is about him in the most direct way.
Though tbh…. Season 6 may bring that issue to a good light… Lila would definitely use that info to try and alumatize adrien into being her most powerful weapon
Gabriel's betrayal is EXACTLY like Emilia's on Kipo 😂😢 once you know, you know. Luckily with Kipo, she had friends to help save her from her villain. Unfortunately, Ladybug did not here...

'So Basically' to obecnie mój jedyny sposób oglądania Miraculum. Nie dlatego, że nie mam gdzie oglądać, chodzi o to że Miraculum to obiektywnie i personalnie okropny serial, a i tak z jakiegoś powodu mnie ciekawi co się tam dzieje. Ten finał był okropny, jedyne co było fajne to plan Gabriella z tym że każdy na świecie ściga Biedre i Kota, oraz to że Gabriel poświęcił swoje życie za Natalie.
Ok lemme try to make this short: I agree with you on how they revealed Gabriel to Marinette, I actually kinda liked Marinette’s weird eye pupil thing, I appreciated the Ninjago reference and the Megamind references, “Me and The Devil” is such a banger song, and I agree with you on what you said about missing Cat Noir Ok I’m done lol 😅 I ALSO REALLLLLLY LIKED THE LONDON SPECIAL- I’m pretty sure everyone liked it A LOT. Nie no ale jak jest fuzja to sie daje Gogetę-grubasa albo Gogetę-chudzielca dla efektu komicznego a nie jakieś kosmiczne baby ze Stevena Universe. Co jak co ale każdy kojarzy Dragon Balla I szanuje za wstawki z Megamocnego. Choć ja tu dałabym też coś z Iniemamocnych. Z tego co wiem to totalnie pierwszym konceptem na Miraculous czy raczej na Biedronkę miałbyć mrocznym francuskim komiksem. I jako czytelniczka francuskiej sztuki komiksowej uważam że byłoby to świetne. Owszem ciężar przesunąłby się bardziej w stronę amerykańskich superbohaterów widzianych oczami Francuzów, czy tak jak dawniej westerny czy sf, czyli gorzko i bez taryfy ulgowej. Ale byłoby to dobre. Ja sama widzę to że i Marinette i Adrien/Felix mają te 20 lat i są na studiach. Gabriel nadal jest tym kim jest. Ze względu na przemocowe zapędy Gabriela, Adrien utrzymuje się ze stypendium naukowego i z pracy dorywczej (jakiś sklep czy fastfood a nie modeling). Nawet może pracować u rodziców Marinette. Sytuacja życiowa Mari byłaby bez zmian, ot pracuje u rodziców i też ma stypendium ale za projektowanie ubrań. Sama Mari zakochała się w ichnim Felixie (bez pokrewieństwa z Adrienem) ale ten ją zbywa. Adrien ze względu na pracę w piekarni zakochał się w Marinette. Sama Mari, już jako Biedronka coś czuje do Czarnego Kota, czyli Adriena. Ale tutaj Kot byłby antybohaterem, który chce zdobyć jej miraculum by jego matka odzyskała zdrowie (dałabym tu że za pomocą miraculim pawia wyleczyła Adriena ze śmiertelnej choroby). Jednak mamy tutaj też Gabriela jako Władcę Ciem, który chce miracula biedronki i kota z tego samego powodu co Adrien. Jednak Adrien pomimo bycia antybohaterem często (zbyt często choć sam zaprzecza) jest sojusznikiem Biedronki, bo ta nie jest tak biegła w sztuki walki. U mnie życzenie też miałoby swoją cenę. Dałabym że to załamany Adrien uruchamia życzenie ale to Gabriel je wypowiada za cenę swojego życia i błaga syna o wybaczenie. Adrien mu wybacza. I razem z Marinette zaczynają nowy etap w związku (byli wcześniej razem ale bardzo pokłócili się o życzenie i inne takie). U mnie nie byłoby ani chińskich miraculi i pozostałe byłby ograniczone. Przyjaciele ograniczyliby się do Alyi, Nino, Chloe (tak, u mnie ma redemption arc). Reszta klasy (choć nie chodziliby na ten sam uniwersytet) byłaby ofiarami akum ale w motywach z chińskiego zodiaku. Jeśli komuś takie coś przypomina jakiś fanfik to niech wie, że ja żadnycn fanfików nie czytałam a z yt znam może 3 krótkie historyjki gdzie dochodzi do ujawnienia albo Biedronka i Kot są razem od dłuższego czasu. Jedyne dłuższe co oglądałam to ten The Office Miraculous

I HATE the ending scene of the special with ladynoir SO MUCH. Because i can no longer stand the pretending of Adrien/Chat Noir actually mattering as a character. He could be a useful object everyone would have wanted and nothing drastic would have change, because he not only is not allowed to be able to cause an impact on the story as a person in universe or as a character, but he is not allowed to even KNOW anything even though it is about him in the most direct way.
Though tbh…. Season 6 may bring that issue to a good light… Lila would definitely use that info to try and alumatize adrien into being her most powerful weapon

So, here’s my theory as to Gabe’s wish, so, he DIDN’T wish for Emily to come back because he saw the video that Mari showed him, so, he instead wishes for Nathalie to come back and sacrifices himself

Now that I've watched the last episode I wonder why Felix is in the superhero group at the end? Ladybug has no doubts about him, this guy is willing to do anything to get what he wants, kind of like Lila and Gabriel or even Natali at some pont

'So Basically' to obecnie mój jedyny sposób oglądania Miraculum. Nie dlatego, że nie mam gdzie oglądać, chodzi o to że Miraculum to obiektywnie i personalnie okropny serial, a i tak z jakiegoś powodu mnie ciekawi co się tam dzieje. Ten finał był okropny, jedyne co było fajne to plan Gabriella z tym że każdy na świecie ściga Biedre i Kota, oraz to że Gabriel poświęcił swoje życie za Natalie.
W sensie, miał potencjał, tylko twórcę miał do bani :V

I have right now a weird idea for a show in Miraculous Universe:
What if, there was a new miraculous show that is so dark, like really dark, the level of Netlix Adaptations, or like Punisher or Venom or Deadpool or Daredevil or any really dark superhero ''BLEIFE'' ever existing
I'd like for the show to be 16+, I swear to GOD it gives so much more liberty.
My JJK-brainrotted self has already thought of such a thing. No curses or anything like that, just usage of some abilities from there, and a general darker tone for the show.
But, I don't know if you know what the anime/manga is about, so I won't go into detail.

I szanuje za wstawki z Megamocnego. Choć ja tu dałabym też coś z Iniemamocnych.
Z tego co wiem to totalnie pierwszym konceptem na Miraculous czy raczej na Biedronkę miałbyć mrocznym francuskim komiksem. I jako czytelniczka francuskiej sztuki komiksowej uważam że byłoby to świetne.
Owszem ciężar przesunąłby się bardziej w stronę amerykańskich superbohaterów widzianych oczami Francuzów, czy tak jak dawniej westerny czy sf, czyli gorzko i bez taryfy ulgowej. Ale byłoby to dobre. Ja sama widzę to że i Marinette i Adrien/Felix mają te 20 lat i są na studiach. Gabriel nadal jest tym kim jest. Ze względu na przemocowe zapędy Gabriela, Adrien utrzymuje się ze stypendium naukowego i z pracy dorywczej (jakiś sklep czy fastfood a nie modeling). Nawet może pracować u rodziców Marinette. Sytuacja życiowa Mari byłaby bez zmian, ot pracuje u rodziców i też ma stypendium ale za projektowanie ubrań. Sama Mari zakochała się w ichnim Felixie (bez pokrewieństwa z Adrienem) ale ten ją zbywa. Adrien ze względu na pracę w piekarni zakochał się w Marinette. Sama Mari, już jako Biedronka coś czuje do Czarnego Kota, czyli Adriena. Ale tutaj Kot byłby antybohaterem, który chce zdobyć jej miraculum by jego matka odzyskała zdrowie (dałabym tu że za pomocą miraculim pawia wyleczyła Adriena ze śmiertelnej choroby). Jednak mamy tutaj też Gabriela jako Władcę Ciem, który chce miracula biedronki i kota z tego samego powodu co Adrien.
Jednak Adrien pomimo bycia antybohaterem często (zbyt często choć sam zaprzecza) jest sojusznikiem Biedronki, bo ta nie jest tak biegła w sztuki walki. U mnie życzenie też miałoby swoją cenę. Dałabym że to załamany Adrien uruchamia życzenie ale to Gabriel je wypowiada za cenę swojego życia i błaga syna o wybaczenie. Adrien mu wybacza. I razem z Marinette zaczynają nowy etap w związku (byli wcześniej razem ale bardzo pokłócili się o życzenie i inne takie).
U mnie nie byłoby ani chińskich miraculi i pozostałe byłby ograniczone. Przyjaciele ograniczyliby się do Alyi, Nino, Chloe (tak, u mnie ma redemption arc). Reszta klasy (choć nie chodziliby na ten sam uniwersytet) byłaby ofiarami akum ale w motywach z chińskiego zodiaku. Jeśli komuś takie coś przypomina jakiś fanfik to niech wie, że ja żadnycn fanfików nie czytałam a z yt znam może 3 krótkie historyjki gdzie dochodzi do ujawnienia albo Biedronka i Kot są razem od dłuższego czasu. Jedyne dłuższe co oglądałam to ten The Office Miraculous
