Or, to put it another way: I want to see people suffer.
The heavy, chugging chords, the manic energy of the song, and the overall emotion of the melody (especially with the backup guitar) really sells this as an intense, earth-shattering showdown. One of my favorite covers of one of my favorite themes!

I think the reason for reds silence is because when you first speak to him he underestimates your strength as he has not found a worthy challenge for him until you showed up, and he’d grown tired of fighting one sided battles. However once you win he remains in silence but shocked and flees, maybe he saw that after years of isolation he finally saw the world was catching up with him and he couldn’t afford to fall down from his rank as the strongest.
