This man has said the most beautiful things that I have ever heard, and it's sad that you don't see that. Why can't people give people a break? We all want the same thing. Just to get by.

His part in "to this day" about the young boy summed m life in a nutshell, and how ironic that i also speak to people in regards to addiction, mental health, bullying , depression, all through lived experience. This Man is brilliant !
Oh gosh, Shane has helped me get through so much of my past that I still carry with me. "To This Day" is such a perfect titles for that video about bullying...still....to this day....

I've never heard this called 'Spoken Word Poetry' but I guess it could be. I've always heard it referred to as 'Performance Poetry' but I'm thinking both could be correct.

Couple problems with your statement; however, I commend you for at least acknowledging that this man is obese and has an enormous/bulbous/ most gross chin I've ever seen. Now to address your statements... first off why would I ever care about "landing a TED talk"? Second you say he's obviously loaded - well that may be true, but at the same time he is known to stress that money doesn't buy happiness. The part where you're really wrong is when you say he gets women. Only women he gets are paid.
