That says it all. "Take pride". You done a great job. I remember my dad built a wooden fence outta yellow poplar ruff cut lumber. I'm here to tell you that fence stood the test of time. Your work was very neat and orderly. Are you going to treat it or paint it to preserve the wood. When i was a kid 45 years ago my dad just white washed his every summer.

I had a 500’ fence built. The guys used no strings or levels. It blows my mind that they got it all straight and level to the (eye at least). Pros!
Ps. I’m doing all the rest of my own fencing and I have a hillside home. It’s tough! I use a 16’ board to set my bottom boards on to follow the land. Good job!

He did a nice job with your video, good instruction too, but next time you talk about your post when you want them to be straight up and down vertical it's called plumb, level would be if you were putting it across horizontal position. Of course, most people probably don't know the difference. You did a great job though.

Looks awesome man!! I been stressing a little on how to deal with my slope when I do mine and you killed it. I do have a couple questions. Looks like you used home milled wood which is what I’m doing I’m milling out my own posts and 1x6s with my sawmill, what did you use for treatment on the bottom of posts? Oil and diesel? And also what size board did you use for your spacer board between the planks. I love the way yours looks and want to do it about the same.
