Thanks for this upload. It's important to preserve this kind of pop culture from the dawn of computer multimedia. I collected screensavers on my Mac 2ci and Mac Performa, and this was one of my favorites. I've been hoping and trying for years to find a compatible version of After Dark and all its modules for OSX but to no avail. Was hoping somebody with the know-how out there would take it upon themselves to make a home made version update.
I definitely watched this screensaver churn away for long stretches back in the day. I still perk up when rewatching some of the episodes the dialogue snippets in the screensaver came from; anything from Q saying "macro head!" to Riker saying "I'm not sure I have a specific recommendation" takes me right back to the days when Bridge Encounters lit up a little corner of my room.
I had this in the 90's. Bought it at Babbages and bought wing commander and star craft at costco back when costco sold pc games. 25 years ago but seems like yesterday.
Ok, so I know this is waaaaaaay late, but can any of you help me get a copy of this software? My cousin has the original box and floppies for this but they don't work anymore...
