Loved this band since I was 15, when The Real Thing came out! Really been diving into their live stuff on youtube lately. I have a whole new respect, admiration and love, for FNM
Mike Patton’s voice is so awesome! I remember the first time I heard this song years ago, they instantly became my favorite band and Mike Patton my favorite singer.
Patton's looking and sounding like his fantastic self again, and the bass mix on this recording is so much better than any of the other live shows I've seen this year.
@@classyasphuck True, but he’s still human. I saw a show with FNM where he was sick and spent some of the show lying down while singing. It was still good, but definitely not him at his best.
I would use the word misplaced :D In my case, being the Gopnik kid born in mid 80s Eastern block, I was familiar with the name. Saw a lot of FNM patches commonly sold, kinda knew some of their more radio friendly songs and basically had them in the same rank as, say, U2/RHCP in my head. How amazed was I when I first heard the entire Angel Dust album a couple of decades later as a fan of The Dillinger Escape Plan while discovering Mike Patton's discography. Well, another decade and a half later and I must have seen every FNM gig on TH-cam :D
Mr. Patton still delivers, not just in crowd surfing!! Outstanding performance, or simply EPIC!! A very underrated band who still puts young timers in their place in these days!!
Saw them on this tour, holy sweet shit the best damn thing I've ever seen and heard. Absolute screeching beauty. I'm so happy I get to exist in this world the same time as this band.
Wow what amazing show. Great sound and recording. Thank you. Awesome to see the amazing faith no more rocking it out. Can't Wait to see you again live.❤
from 53.10 I guess that crowd surfing feels significantly less safe now than it did in 1992. coos he must have been pumping some adrenaline.- he manages to secure his jewelry and pull his pants up with enough time to be on the stage for the final chorus of one of the last and memorable songs of the set. WOW. but before the denoument, he checks his pockets - he processes what he's lost and gets over it in less than a bar of music, whilst singing and with the crescendo in the last ber before the climax happening, not only makes the decision to take over the filming the show, but actually takes full control of the camera, including wearing the headphones (good job camerman there) but he band hevnt had to sepeat bars to accomodate the antics, because and rather than miss his cue, he'd already shoved the mic in his mouth. Those of us old enough to have been in the scene in the early 90's all know how that sounds- it has happened snd been a key part of some all time great performsnces, but it sounds like a mess. But this is Mike Patton and there's diction, timing, pitch amd the mic itself is just resisting overload. as if just the thing of him with camera wasn't funny enough. Beyond genius - almost superhuman in speed and timing. i cant stop looking at it.
The bassist/keyboard player kinda looks like a guy who would sit in the cubicle next to you at work 9-5 everyday, then after work goes and plays a Faith No More show for 50k people then comes into work the next morning and acts like he had a typical uneventful night or something hahaha
Wow, haven't seen that in years. Crowd surfing. Is it just me or do bands rarely do things like crowd surfing or fans stage diving like they used to back in the 90's?
These guys are in their 50s and are putting the 'new' generation to shame. Great show.
for real!!
They're not that old 😂
Erm
Mike Patton never disappoints!

Patton is amazing! He is ALWAYS in key, his screams are always powerful and close to what he's done on record, and he puts on a hell of a show too.
He is impressive!
Well no, he is only my favourite voice! ;)
Beatiful evolution of this band. Great show!!!
If there would be one person who deserves a golden microphone it would be Mike Patton himself!!! The one and only!
What an amazing band fronted by one of the greatest vocalists of all times!
100% one of the best of all time.
There's nothing bigger than FNM. Is the best band of all world, of all worlds, of all ages. Patton is God, for sure.
General is laughing at "god" lol
Cmon Man, the guy is surfing on crowd and still sounds amazing.
Mike you are someting else!
He’s the GOAT no doubt about it.
Drums amazing
The sound makes you feel alive

I came later - punk came first^^😮

I envy the audience, they saw the best FNM concert
Love fnm what a band. Probably the most underrated band of all time. Underrated is probably the wrong word!
James Adcock I agree and would add under appreciated/respected.

The Gentle Art of Making Enemies and Matador are absolutely next level here. Be well Mike Patton ✌️
I love the fact that 25 years after recording it, Roddy still performs "From Out of Nowhere" with the same movements.
35 year old song still my anthem because it's it, it's EPIC!
Wow what amazing show. Great sound and recording. Thank you. Awesome to see the amazing faith no more rocking it out. Can't Wait to see you again live.❤
54:16 Patton hits the notes, growling into a microphone. Makes most pop singers look like piles of puke.
