If you ever pass by again look downstairs in the Basement, I worked there a few years back just before it closed during covid and that building's first ever use was a Mortuary way back mid 1800's and downstairs the basement has walls of mirrors leading to a room at the end all black curtains were still up last I saw of it. None of us that worked there went down alone, it was the creepiest and haunted place I've ever experienced!
When I visit Blackpool I always walk by this beautiful old place and wonder what it was like in it's hey day and I wonder what happened for it to end up like this it's such a shame it's to be vandalised like that x
@memyselfandiiscool should check out the monthly map I do on the membership beardedtraveller tier quite good as features places I have been to including caps etc
What a shame..absolutely beautiful location and potential just lost. Now to save it , will cost big bucks. I watched and was imagining what I would do with something like this. Unfortunately it will probably end up a parking lot for next door. Great video!
Once stayed in the hotel next door st James and, they informed us that the hotel that you investigated was purchasing their hotel, sad to see so many hotels going the same way
The hotel was once York house hotel I did belong to the Tiffany's hotel a few year ago the owners just took off I think and they owned the la tour hotel on Albert road it is still closed such a shame
A lot of that stuff in there could have been saved if done early enough, now its all ruined, and will have to go to landfill, sheer waste, and there are so many of these places all over the country in the same state, do they want them all to fall down, be set on fire, so bloody anoying
Such a shame what i dont understand is why do all that damage i understand peaple taking shelter there if they are homeless but why smash it up beautiful building on the front didnt now it was a morgue years ago though wow
@kaydenN.1738 if you want to watch it earlier you need always become a member this is just the line up of what's coming next months is not set in stone yet
Oh yeah will need quite abit investing in it but with these current times ahead loads of these in better condition are popping up as well however location fantastic
I have no doubt this place was cool back in the day! Awesome video as always mate’s! 👍👍❤️🤘
Yeah like many guesthouses on the strip but now ruined

Ahh mad we missed that lol thanks for the info
What a shame 😢 All of these old hotels were so beautiful back in the 1960s & 1970s and they all smelled of coffee and cigars it was magical ✨
Times be changing way to fast
Nice to see you back in Blackpool lots of abandoned places to explore, really nice explore this keep up the great work
Aha yeah been awhile I do like the coast
When I visit Blackpool I always walk by this beautiful old place and wonder what it was like in it's hey day and I wonder what happened for it to end up like this it's such a shame it's to be vandalised like that x
It is a massive shame so many coastal towns are suffering at the moment unfortunately
I have this on my map for me to explore at some point

Looks like a fab place i dont know what happened but ive walked passed this when ive stayed up there 😊
yeah these buildings here are amazing and its such a shame they are either being abandoned and left or burnt down
Great video Dan
Thank you Melissa glad you enjoyed
Once stayed in the hotel next door st James and, they informed us that the hotel that you investigated was purchasing their hotel, sad to see so many hotels going the same way
Ahh shame they didn't as now it's just rotting away
Interesting 👍walked passed there many times on holiday probably be demolished and flats built there 🍻
Yeah I assume this will be demolished did the Hacketts before it burnt down another place gone
Stopped there 16 years ago it was a dump back then but the food was excellent
Aha oh really so not much has changed then 😅
@@BeardedReality correct
Some mess in there lads, great explore though
Aha yeah gonna cost a bomb to renovated tho if they do
The hotel was once York house hotel I did belong to the Tiffany's hotel a few year ago the owners just took off I think and they owned the la tour hotel on Albert road it is still closed such a shame
Mad how these places get left to rack and ruin
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE OF THIS EVER COMING BACK TO GENERAL PUBLIC USE EVER.
Always a chance however would not be worth it would cost way to much money
You should see if you can find any historical reviews about the place
aha would be interesting to see

Seems so it is surprising how much gets wasted when we are told to recycle, save things etc etc
blackpools not in decline. its actually on the up !!
You must live in a different coastal town lol
Such a shame what i dont understand is why do all that damage i understand peaple taking shelter there if they are homeless but why smash it up beautiful building on the front didnt now it was a morgue years ago though wow
yes heard it was a morgue which is crazy and agreed massive shame but people for you

Hi beardo cool hotel but in bad shape those beds eww 💩
Aha yes we were lucky to get into this one
Cameras moving far too fast can't even see anything
@waynenicholas144 if to fast for you click the slow down setting but just a normal pace my dude
Probably get converted into flats, only way to save it or likes if IBIS will build another soulless crap in it's place.
What's the constant beeping noise?
Smoke alarm
Think it's an alarm ⏰️ but must of been going awhile 🤔
