    I started a new restaurant job last year in August and I really didn’t eat that much at home because I can eat at the restaurant. Usually never ate breakfast during that time only lunch and dinner. I returned back to weed due to stress. I didn’t even eat that much as well and ate junk food. I quit weed last month and I didn’t eat at all only once a day until like week 3 or 4 I started to eat more but I would be nauseous and vomit. I took vitamin d on Thursday and my body ache’s stopped especially on my legs. I took B1 yesterday and my tingling feeling in my arms and leg’s stopped! I went to the hospital twice because I wasn’t feeling good and they did blood work and told me I was okay and I believed it. Never knew vitamins were so important until now

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I generally do tell people that trace mineral deficits will make B vitamins less effective. Minerals are cofactors for all vitamins and their enzymes. By the way, heavy metals poison these enzymes too and act as antiminerals.

B1 is what they give to alcoholics in detox I think

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, B1 and B12 are commonly given to alcoholics and drug users along with trace minerals. Omega 3 is needed as all nutrients are depleted for years after sobriety if not addressed. Grass fed beef organs are great sources of all these yes. I think perhaps GF freeze dried beef organs are the best choice!

      There could be several, and there could be things to remove from the diet too. Insulin resistance and omega 6 fats an be a problem, heavy metals, and lectins can bind to nutrients and void them in the poop. • @TheHumanCondition

      Single B vitamins may be taken solo, and over time its good to get animal sources of balanced B complex vitamins eventually. It is possible to unbalance B vitamins through supplementation. When I treat vegetarians or plant-based patients, I have to work hard to balance all the B vitamins. When I treat animal based diet patients, there is far less need for tweaking doses and ratios of vitamins and minerals.

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It is possible that B vitamin imbalance can manifest as these symptoms, and while I cannot advise individuals here, generally the minerals underlie and support the function of B vitamins as cofactors or what we call catalysts for the B vitamins to aid enzymes in doing their job of making chemical transformations. If the results wane, consider seeing a functional medicine doc or a functional neurologist and getting minerals or grass fed beef organ meats for minerals and fats and usable forms of B complex. • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Precisely. I find that for the sensitive 20% of us, yes we do better taking separate, low dose, natural and sometimes even different forms of the B vitamins. Forms such as hydroxy- instead of methyl B12 for example. The habit is more work, but it yields custom control of mental and physical symptoms and can really help manage the mind. I tend to use several brands that are sold by stores that are part of the NPA- natural products association-a retail organization (used to be the NNPA) that has a good manufacturing practices stamp and a Tru-label convention to ensure quality and ingredients. I look for health food retailers who are members to check the supply chain because it can be a mystery where companies source their products and the big stores (Mal-Fart) have been busted for selling fraudulently labeled products with no active ingredient.

      Could be more than one thing. Cracks appearing on the sides of mouth at lip corners is almost always B2 riboflavin deficit, yes. The rest can be a symphony of deficits of bile based on deficits of minerals like zinc and many fat soluble nutrients, such as vitamins A, E and D and omega 3s and saturated fats. Note I don't day deficiency here, because this term is highly regulated. People can have a mild vitamin deficit that does not qualify at a deficiency disease state. Orthodox medicine/public health needs to wake up and recognize this, stop pushing so many synthetic intellectual property and prevent diseases for pennies on the $100 ROI. Thank you!

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Orthodox medicine defined "need" back in WWI as the amount required to keep young male soldiers on the battlefield and out of the field infirmary. Currently that is 1.1 and 1.2 mg daily for adult females and males respectively. I think more than that is good especially for those recovering from addiction or brain injury or PTSD, and for students on a tough schedule.
      below is an old study on the effects of thiamine and medications:
      pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8269914/
      below is another older study on phenytoin and thiamine:
      pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7093823/
      So I observe 50 mg thiamine daily is usually enough, but some can take more. overdoses can be skin problems and headaches. Animal organ meats have lots in a balanced proportion, when from grass fed animals. Prescribers use over 100 mg daily in deficiency states such as alcoholism recovery. PPI drugs are not implicated much in thiamine metabolism, but are in other vitamins and minerals.

    Can the human body store B-vitamins in the liver like cows , chickens, pigs etc. ? I\\

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Humans store fat soluble vitamins in their organs like vitamins A,D,E and K. The B complex class of vitamins are water soluble so we store them in all our tissues for a few weeks. That's why if we take too much B vitamins we can just stop and usually recover in a few weeks, and why taking too much of the fat soluble vitamins over time, especially in pregnancy, can cause more serious problems. Try to get most nutrients from plants and its tough. Animal organs have the best concentration of all the vitamins, fats and minerals.

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      While these can be obtained as liquid or pill/capsule, I have found that animal food consumption with less plants overall leads to less need for supplements, except salt. When I work with people and we use supplements I tend to ask them to buy each one separately because my patients are so complex. This methods allows us to tweak up or down each supplement and identify which ones generate adverse reactions and at what serving size, as well as to unserstand how combinations and ratios of serving size work. It is annoying, but it gives us the most freedom to adjust and learn rapidly. The cost can be low as most supplements dont need to be expensive. Certainly some supplements in some cases must be specific and expensive forms but thats not common.

    Sir, My age 33 years, my skin to much dry, Dermatologist says this is genetic issue. Ichthyosis disease. Heels are always cracked and painful.. what should i do.. which Supplements is best.. Please

    • @TheHumanCondition
      @TheHumanCondition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      True ichthyosis is of 2 types, both genetic-childhood and adult onset and is genetically linked. It also is associated with autoimmune conditions. The first question is did they actually confirm it is genetic in each case? The next question I ask is could the problem really be a skin condition that mimics this and not actual ichthyosis?
      Whether or not the diagnosis is true, the bile is incredibly important in skin support. Working on getting healthy saturated ft, omega 3 fat, lecithin from animal or vegetable sources, minerals and reducing toxins is so important.
      further, any disease associated with autoimmune disease screams to me imbalance of antigens. That means the body is rebelling against some foreign protein and is confused by them and mounting a defense. For example, some food or lectin or pollen or manmade chemical or heavy metal exposure coupled with SNPS (which is not the same as genetic testing for ichthyosis) is affecting antigen presenting cells and they are reacting. The T-helper cells are also imbalanced by this and a cascade of TH1 and TH2 defense cytokines and other chemokines like bradykinin and others are released. The way to balance this with or without the genetic component, is to look carefully at all the antigens one is exposed to, and seek to identify and reduce the usual suspects. This can be an elimination diet and a detox and change of household and skin products too. It can mean cleaner water is needed-I cannot tell from here.
      Also know that T helper cells thrive on fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2 and the omega 3s and saturated fat family. This flies in the face of government guidelines on fats (and heart disease) around the world that are based on supporting the Big Agriculture and pharma industry and were debunked the year they were rolled out with Ancel Keys in the 1950s and 60s in the US. Finding root cause advice may e difficult from the Orthodox medical profession. I borrow that term from Robert Mendelsohn, MD the Medical Heretic of my childhood. Beware glib answers without explanations. Look for people who have overcome any illness you are examining for real answers-they are the pioneers. Do not allow the genetic component to produce complacency in you or give up-genes can be turned up and down by epigenetic forces outside-in like a stereo volume knob, so there is hope for all genetic diseases to some degree. Good luck, keep us informed.
