People refer to Van Halen using a Lamborghini because Eddie said in an interview that he owned 1972 Lamborghini Miura and he DID use the exhaust from the car in the song "Panama" during the breakdown when the lyric says "Yeah we're running a little hot tonight..." In fact if you like Van Halen at all, or just maybe don't realize how influential Eddie was for pretty much ALL music today, the Smithsonian did a fantastic interview with Eddie in 2018 that is well worth a watch.

As dumb and unreasonable as it sounds, it actually made me angry. Lol. I kept thinking, bro, we LIVED in that moment... why are you saying THE?! Lmao. Sorry. Haha. Love the video, brother. Jorge is by far the greatest drummer to ever live. Technically speaking, there's never been better. Not sure about a contributor in a band setting, but I know that technically, there's no one that can do what he does. He's perfected the drums, literally.

Like, his isolated drum tracks don't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but they're always awesome, and fit so damned well with the rest of Gojira as a whole.
