    continuing our norns shield exploration...
    part two of audio manglers for norns...and it's a longer one. had to redo the episode multiple times and I'm still not too happy with it. but non the less, I do hope you'll find the video useful and hopefully you'll enjoy it. on this episode I tackle my favorite script - mlre, a cute time wiggler with a cute organ - orgnwrms and the behemoth of a creative enviroment - cheat codes 2. enjoy!
    following the next few weeks on talkies - we're gonna be covering the beautiful world of monome's norns.

    monome & lines
    sadly, as of publishing this video, I believe that due to worldwide chip shortages monome is not offering any more norns shields. however they do have small batches of standard norns on their site. you can get the standard norns or the grid (like I did) directly from their site and this way support monome

    Good stuff again, man. I haven’t messed around with some of these too much as i only just got a grid (and just a launchpad, for now), so this really helped!

    Just a quick update on Midigrid: Midigrid has been merged with the Polygrid mod. This mod allows to use any Midigrid compatible controller without having to modify the script you're playing.

    Just come across this and your other Norns vids. They’re awesome! Good work! Also really like the sounds you use for the op-1. Do you have any favourite presets for the OP-1 (either stock, someone elses or your own)? If you have your own do you have a presets pack available to download / buy?

      hi! thank you for a nice comment! I do have a couple of custom synths and samples that I use on my OP-1. Most of them will be available on my patreon in the following months. I'll probably make a gumroad account somewhere in the future as well. So stay tuned! :)

    Future generations will refer to this as the hainbach syndrom. Íve got it too. Norn on!

      Hainbach and GAS is a thin line yes :D

    Thanks for all your videos. Do you have to check which size monome grid is compatible with a particular script? Or do the scripts adapt to whatever size monome grid you have? Thanks. 🎉

      i think yes. most are compatible with 128, however a lot of 'em will work with 64. since zero has been rereleased a lot of them will be compatible with zero as well. if I'm wrong please someone correct me :)

    Excellent work, Andi! So soothing & informative at the same time :) question: do you use the built-in reverb in Norns?

    • @tworoundrobins
      @tworoundrobins  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much, buddy! Yes, I use the in-built reverb but depending on the piece I’ll mic additional reverb in post 👌🏻

      @@tworoundrobins I absolutely love the build-in reverb, just the right one for my ears. Also, now CC2 seems a bit less daunting to try out. All three scripts here are a blessing 🦋💕🎧
