Love your informative nursing from schooling to prison nurse. I was an ADN for years no student loans and slowly got my bachelors with employment paying it. Many of the programs do not have clinicals, which is fantastic as with work experience its not necessary. I will forward this to my daughter. Thanks again Kimmy keep up the great work and wishing you much success on your journey.

I started Mon 4/10 😅. Struggling to navigate their Campus and find all they’re asking for in each assignment… I went to Chamberlain for two classes and their portal or campus was very easy to navigate and it was very clear what they wanted. But also very very expensive. I do not find Capella’s campus and assessment requirements user friendly at all. (I am an older online learner. I am very frustrated!!!)😢😢

Yay!! Congratulations!!! Yes I loved Capella!- it is great- it’s no where near as hard as ADN!
Also might depend where you are located regarding hospitals hiring. Im in Florida and hospitals near me including BIG names like mayo will hire you with just an ADN/ASN and you have 5 years to get your BSN. In addition they will give you 1500 a year towards it after you work for them for 1 yr. Furthermore, one major hospital near me even hires LPNs because they need nurses badly enough that they've been hiring them.

Hi I have a question do you know how much financial aid will cover for the program?
I enjoyed watching your video it felt like you were sitting and speaking directly to me. Taking in all the information took notes too 😊CONGRATULATIONS on obtaining your BSN. I too have the same concerns over what credits will be accepted and how much more will be required but I guess I won’t know until I stop being scared and go for it. I am the type of person that once I start something I have to finish it. So I agree I too don’t have money to waste. Thank you so much for sharing!

Nice video. Do you know if employer discriminate against capella University BSN. I got few schools for RN to BSN but I just want to know if employer do not discretion against it. I live in Texas

Thank you for your video. I just finished my ADN this month but I was looking into starting Capella soon. I do not have statistics & chemistry b/c it was not required for my ADN program. Do you recommend that I take them at a community college before transferring over to Capella?
congratulations!!! On your ADN you did it! And well you don’t need statistics and chemistry to start the BSN at all. However, if you want to do NP you may need statistics which in that case you might as well do it to get it over with and start with fewer credits to complete for Capella! Let me know if you have any questionsb

What are the extra prerequisite classes I would have to take for the bsn program?
Hey- it really depends on what credits you are already coming in with, you don’t have to come I. With specific preprequisites it’s just the amount of credits- for example I took art history in my acting college years ago and those credits transferred so you can take any class
Hopefully that makes sense it’s not the type of class/prerequisite but how many credits
My same question, I'm an RN and for my current school I will be taking prereqs an entire year

What is your experience with Sophia with Capella University
Heyy I did not take any Sophia classes because I did some research and if you are going for your masters, depending on the school, sometimes the credits don’t transfer
