I am glad she was found. It is frightening to the child and also to the parent. Also, the police are making a notice about it to confirm that she belongs to them, etc.

The man could have thanked the police for keeping an eye on his daughter, but I didn't see that. I am glad they took this seriously in making certain the child was with her legal guardian.

I have to say that after seeing the movie Sound Of Freedom my awareness is heightened. Seeing how those people acted and how scared the girl looked even when they found her, all my alarms went off. Thank you to the officers who were insistent on doing their job by not letting them just walk off with her. I still feel concern for her because something is just not right in that family…IMO. God’s blessings and protection on that sweet child.❤

@maliapeat6022things have got a bit dark for Tim Ballard. He's been excommunicated from the LDS Church. Won't go into why here. I think power and influence can ruin some people and appears he might be one. If it's proven to be true, which it hasn't yet, it's sad for everyone including the people who admire him.

A real nightmare for parents a lost child. Fortunately, the child was in good hands with these officers. I agree that it was somewhat strange the way the father reacted…… Seemed he wanted to just pick up the child and simply turn to leave. I thought this was a bit discourteous towards these kind policemen. If this would happen to me I think I would thank them with abandon for safe keeping my child. But may be the man was still too confused and upset.

The man seemed more annoyed than relieved and happy to have her back! Even the woman wasn’t very excited to have her back. My first thought was that this is how traffickers act and I hope the officers make them prove who they are. There just didn’t seem to be a connection with the girl and the younger man and woman. The girl and the older man seemed to connect a bit more. He patted her on the back when she put her head on his shoulder. This stuff gives me the creeps! I can’t believe the woman didn’t swoop the girl up and hold on to her for dear life. Something just wasn’t right. We must watch out for all children not just our own. 😢

I was lost when I was 4 years old, I was picked up by a police man. At the station my mum came for me didn't comfort me, just told me off , but that's the way my parents were. And it was the 1950s. Not like it is today when you express your love for your children which I always do.

I learned to be openly affectionate with my kids from my older sister. My mom learned from our families because we were always being affectionate with our kids and each other. But I have to take into consideration what her up bringing was like and I have been able to let it go. That’s just how parents were back then. So glad we are past that time period!
