    Just a linguistical side note: In the German language, the word for wall is “Wand”, which is related to the verb “winden”, which means “to twist”, referring to the twisting of the branches that made up the wall. What you see at 2:46 is (the inner structure of) those very exact twisted branches from which “Wand” is derived, while a “Mauer”, which describes a wall made of brick or stone, comes from the Latin “murus”. So, to this day, in German both “Wand” and “Mauer” describe walls, while a “Mauer” is necessarily made of stone or brick, while everything else is a “Wand”, and naturally never as strong as a “Mauer”.
