i have this exact truck, but when i go to buy the mx4 the manufacturer says it would not work with the split tailgate, could you please explain why? thanks
On the Rambox bed is no issues, but on the regular bed with the corner factory bracket the cover will not work. Unless you change out the factory corner bracket. I have told the manufacture about a company who make a replacement bracket that would help with this . It seems I am one of a few businesses who know about this bracket replacement. Good question, on the Rambox bed they do not have the bracket that you referrer to. On the non Rambox (regular bed) with Mulit function tailgate that bracket is there and would need to be replace with a after market bracket that we carry.
My 2020 limited came with the black cargo rails. Will this cover work with them?

You can but only for the bed and not the tailgate
