Hey sir. I gifted this one to Dave Card but it's still an excellent shavette. My personal favorite is the Weck but this one is quite good indeed. It's a little heavier than the weck but not too heavy.

Cool looking shavette. It is funny you mentioned the A&E labels. The label on my Stink like a Stallion soap keeps peeling up around the edges and is annoying. Have a great day Chris.

Super Sunday shavette shave Chris! I like the idea of the ability to use different blade types in the IBC razor. A&E is another brand that I will eventually try. There are plenty of brands to choose and that is a great thing for our community.. If I am not mistaken, I believe you have over 200 open blade shaves under your belt. I think I'm probably somewhere close to that Joseph. If I'm not there, hopefully I'll be there by the time the 1 year anniversary rolls around next month:)
@@IAMCDB I just checked. You have 157 traditional straight and 39 shavette shaves. You have 196 open blade shaves, so you are 4 shy of 200. You definitely will hit it during 1st week of April.

My skin really dries out during a shave so I appreciate the post shave of many artisan soaps. However I certainly don't need it, it's not hard to use some face moisturizer after my AS.

Peter is open about any issues and that's why I am more forgiving when it comes to his delays. I have that soap and it's a great soap.

I've had one for a good couple years now, and have been singing it's praises splice using it consistently over the past 8 months or so.
Excellent razor, and the fact that it's compatible with 3 blades, and all parts are replaceable, makes it a very valuable choice. Especially when you consider the cost of say......Feathers..... even the SS version. 😲
Being that the IBC uses a screw rather than pins, I'm going to see how it works/feels when using it like a Kamisori.
I do feel that it would benefit from a redesign with a slightly longer tang/tail though.
All that said, it's great to finally see them getting more recognition within the wetshaving community.
By the way, those Cetakoted ones look really sweet!

My favourite sweet-scented shave soap for the moment is probably Stirling's Black Cherry.
(Should come with a warning: keep away from children who are even slighlty hungry: they WILL want to eat it!)

Very nice shave Chris! Thanks to you I’m enjoying Vanille Vendetta as well, which I greatly appreciate! You’re spot on referring to it as a spicy vanilla. Have you ever smelled the fragrance by Loccitane called Baux? To me, Vanille Vendetta smells similar to Baux.... As I recall, Pete is a fan of Baux... it makes me wonder if Vanille Vendetta is maybe inspired by it (not a dupe or anything, but just an influence I guess you could say)? Either way, it’s a great soap and scent! The IBC looks like a nice shaver too. Take care Chris!
