I have two old Gillette’s re-done and cerakoted ..... love them, one is extra mild and other aggressive on same number. Point is each razor is different and each person needs to determine what they want... price, style, etc.... and that is your deal and that’s great. No fight from me. Blade colors always kind freaked me out never could figure that out. Like blue better than yellow lights by the way. Know about those dog “kisses” ..... Thanks for posting this video!
your movies are really enjoyable to watch. your enthusiasm and joy are really nice to watch every day. another plus is that you started using more DE razors. Keep it up
Awesome video. I do agree, we cannot overlook the fact that this costs a s load of money. Would prefer have a handful of razors for that price. I love your rationale for the light colors though! Take care!
Better not mess with that dog, the trumpet player might give you a whoopin. LOL The Rex is a piece of art, IMO, but my favorite DE is my aluminum Lupo. Keep up the great work, my man!
My opinion on the argument about the two razors is: You buy what you want to buy and I'll buy what I want to buy. Most everything made today can be considered a knock-off of something else.
Nice shave! Sorry about the lip. The pup was just saying,"Hey, pay attention to me! Never mind what's going on over there!" LOL But, MAN any wound above the neck bleeds like crazy! Cheers! -Rob
Yo Stallion! Great vid. I get my best shaves from my Rex but I’m sure the Flexi shaves just as good. Hell, for $80 I may buy the Flexi to use as a travel razor! BTW you should try PAA’s Ascension Twist Adjustable Double Open Comb razor. It’s around $90 and is awesome! God bless.
Good video brother, but I gotta say, when it comes to razors, you get what you pay for. If you pay for a cheap knockoff, that's exactly what you're gonna get. Quality has a price tag, if you want it, you gotta pay for it, but I think it's worth it in the end. The Rex is a damn fine razor and works very well. hope you're doing well and have a great weekend, cheers pal! 🍺🍺🤘
Bro, I agree to a degree, but would you say the Rex is 3X better than the Pearl Flexi ?? That's if you have held both razors, because if you haven't, I can't see how anyone can make that claim who hasn't !! Is the Rex better, YES, its solid Stainless Steel, but again, is it 3X better, and in my opinion, NO !!! There both going to last either of us our whole lifetime !!!
@@AnthonyEspositoTheStallion I will admit I don't own a Pearl, I do own a Rex. And no, I don't think that any razor is 3x better than any razor, but that's just my two cents. Solid machined 316 L marine grade stainless steel went into the rex, that thing is a beast of a razor and it shaves like one that I can say for sure. From what I've seen of the pearl, its a nice razor and is comparable to the rex in terms of perfromance. But I don't think the pearl comes with the lifetime warranty or the quality of the Rex as far as construction goes. I guess, speaking for myself, I'd rather have a quality piece of hardware where thought and enginuity went into it rather than a copy, but that's just me. Take it easy buddy.
@@Tman2217 Bro, I fully understand what you are saying, but a younger person or someone without $250 to throw down on a razor can get the Pearl Flexi that will last there lifetime and there kids lifetime !! Just saying Bro !! 👊😎👊
I've never experienced any kind of drag from a razor. The way I see it is if your razor is dragging then your lather must need some work. If your lather is slick then how can your razor drag. That razor drag topic always cracks me up.
I've been fighting it a bit with my Blackbird. I just picked it up in December and I've only used it a few times. I don't think it's my lather. If I had to guess, I think it's the angle. If I try to ride the cap with the BB, I think I feel it more. Today was better with a different blade, too. Never had that problem with the Ambassador, though.
Another great video and shave bro. Personally I think I’ll stick with my Fatboy. Can’t beat the original and you can’t reinvent the wheel. Take care bro.

Very best regards Gordon.😎👍👌
Thanks for watching my Man 👊
Great video!
Pretty soon you’ll have a couple more good lookin adjustables to shave with!
Absolutely, can't wait, I'm wicked pumped about it now !! Thanks Bro, and thank you for watching 👍

Thanks, and thank you for watching 👍
I believe one of the earlier versions of the Ambassador did drag. Chris did a video about it on his channel
I've never experienced drag in my small use of DE razors !!
Awesome video. I do agree, we cannot overlook the fact that this costs a s load of money. Would prefer have a handful of razors for that price. I love your rationale for the light colors though! Take care!

Oh yeah, the Rex is nice no question, and my Lupo is awesome, what a great razor, especially for the money !!! 😎😎
top shave !! Rex was the name of my grandfathers dog :)
Thanks for watching Bro 👊

BINGO !! Couldn't agree more 😎
From what I know both are knock offs of the Gibbs.
Nice shave with the Ambassador. Watch the lips:)
Max's paw caught me right in the same spot !! SOB
"Are you alright?" 😂 great shave brother👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching Bro 👊
I think there were kinks fixed up on the Rex, of all the Pearl Flexi and Rex Ambr. the Rex may very well be the best. Adios Amigos!
For sure, the Rex is solid stainless steel, but it's also 3X the money !!
🇺🇸Made in the good old U.S. of A 🇺🇸

Yeah, he didn't want the getting some love to stop !! 🤣🤣

I'll look into that, thanks for watching Bro 👊
So with the Pearl you save enough money to also get your top ten favorite A&E soaps.
It's brass, same as a Fatboy, there still around !! I understand the Rex is solid SS but $250 is a big difference than $80 !!

I've never gotten drag with my rex ambassador. If you get drag with any razor it's probably dry lather or the wrong shaving angle for the razor.
Me either, never had a razor drag !!

Just sent out one of my Fatboy's and one of my Slim's to be replated !!! 🤣🤣
And thanks for watching Brother 👊
Always welcome my friend. Who did you send them to?
