Kohana's Farewell | Loro Parque

On 14 September 2022, Kohana, one of the most emblematic members of the Orca Ocean family, passed away. From Loro Parque we want to clarify what happened and tell you the truth about the work of our keepers, who wanted to tell you what Kohana meant to them. We have also shared the preliminary findings of the necropsy.
In the wake of her death, we have received many attacks from people who are unaware of the real work we do inside and outside our facilities.
We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to all those people who have supported us during this difficult time.
