Southbound- You made it right. Cumberland Cove TN

A beautiful song that almost got lost in time. The country gospel group "Southbound" recorded this album back in 1999-2000. The lead singer and guitar player, Andy Botkins had a heart attack while driving and passed away. As fate would have it, the banjo player and Andy's best friend, Randy Brown who was a Sheriff's deputy, was the first person to arrive on the scene. After this tragedy, the band dissolved. 10-12 years later, I met Randy Brown. He had quit law enforcement and was driving truck. He gave me what he believed was the last cd that his group had recorded. Randy is the last surviving member of the band. I would like to preserve and honor the memory of this great gospel group.
