I love this drummer so much. They really nail the soft touch feel that’s on the records but still take stylistic liberties that make the live performance engaging.
I'm convinced that if we dropped Andy in the 60's/70's, he'd fit without a blink. "Norm" is just...oozing with that early 70's, late 60's retro-thought. A moment to think about a moment that wasn't monumental but so important for you, you know? Man...
I feel like the second keyboard (closer) was meant to not play on the last loop since he has the off key note which hits a bit too strong with the other instruments mostly phased out at that point. My second hypothesis is that he just looked at him as if to say "nice you killed it" Such a great performance.
@@maisa96 I got to chat with the drummer and he said Andy kinda dislikes impromptu stuff/Improvisation LOL It's kinda hilarious but it makes sense too. Oh Andy!
Can't overstate how important it's been for me finding his music at this point in my life. Made me feel again
😭❤ same
yep.

Man...
Andy is my favourite songwriter, his work is so dear to my heart! 💙
Halloween Store is meant to be played live, what a sinister jam.
Dude, NORM sounds...like Billie Joel took a time machine man, it's ridiculously wonderful!
his expressions are so funny and adorable lol
I just love him!!! ❤
One of the best feelings is to realize an artist is even better live! Andy is amazing indeed🤩
Amazing. closest thing to a modern day Paul Simon. Looking forward to listening to him live tomorrow night in Leeds.
I was thinking about the same! He has Paul Simon vibes
The exchanged glances at the accidental note when Halloween Store ends. 👀Always a lovely performance by Andy and the band.
May seem accidental but that note is in the original and other performances of this song, the glances were great though

So great!!! Andy is amazing! The best!✨🎶❤️
This live performance elevates the whole album…the live instruments and performance are just divine

Love the looks on the small pianist error, see you in Paradiso Amsterdam!❤🙏👏😁
Happens when careless enthusiasm gets the best of you haha. It happens. He's lucky they're good friends 😂

It seems like this is the note he carries through the whole song but its more pronounced at the end with less instruments.
True crime is the best!

I love the music but he wouldn’t let anyone come to a show who didn’t take the jab. 🤡
Take the jab?
Probably Covid shot
Oh dear. Not one of those brainwashed fools! Shame that.
