After years of using Photoshop, Luminar took a bit of getting used to. At first, I used them as plug-ins and found I only used PS as a carrier(for most things). After struggling for a while, I am getting used to it and find it excellent for the desired results.
I have NEO and most of its predecessors and follow most of the creators of tutorials. Still my favorite editor is PhotoScape X 4 and while having Pro, for most folks, the freeware version is more than adequate. I seldom use RAW and when using any of my images, often will simply click on the single HDR button and see where the program suggests changes and then mask and play with either the result or use individual tools that allow me to manually edit toward a final goal. Real easy to save an HDR to view from if the edit is a bit complicated o/w more often than not I can generally memorize the basics of the single HDR.

Hi Fox. Indeed, Luminar Neo does things its own way and it works - once you're used to it
Thank you for the informative video. Does Luminar Neo support Nikon RAW files?
Yep. In fact, some of the images you might have seen in the video were 14-bit Nikon D750 *.NEF files.
A good summary thnx Richard.I have used and enjoyed the software although none of the mentioned apps will steal me away from the most excellent ACDSee
You're welcome Stephen. I'm a big fan of ACDSee too.
