Lol! My Mal would probably play with the robbers too and lead them inside the house. She loves people too much.but i wouldn't want her to be aggressive like this.
Goid job on your calmness Chris. A Belgian Malinois is too much dog for 90% of people! This biggest mistake most people make with a malinois. Is not socializing early .around people, children and other dogs. Prime Socialization period is 8 to 16 weeks. This is not the dogs fault! It's not bad breeding.. It's the owners. Now this breed is a full on fad 2022. Breaks my heart to see all these magnificent animals end up being destroyed. When not socialized.they become almost un adoptable.
Disagree - and I train and own Malinois. OVER Socialization can actually cause these issues. Gradual socialization, when they're at the right age and the right frame of mind, slowly is the best way. They also don't "need" any amount of running a day and can be left alone... if they are trained right. Malinois need mental stimulation more than physical. They need a JOB of some sort, even if its just doing some training routine repeatedly. They're more dog than most people can handle, because they try to over supply the physical side and not the mental side. They're really a dog for people who really, really like dogs and can pour their heart and soul into them.
They seem to come in a wide range of heights. Especially the ones from different parts of Europe. I believe it's because the breeders are still focused on performance rather than specific measurements.
I have the same problem with my 1,5 years old female. Aggressive to people and dog's. With dogs we already started training and she doi better to ignore them, but with people no. No one can come closer, she will attack, and i have no idea how to fix it
Chris…I’ll say it. The vast majority of folks should not own a Malociraptor. That owner should not own a Malociraptor. Great job conditioning/introducing Nation to the E-Collar. Bad breeding + bad owner = Nation punching you every time you turn from him. Also like how you introduced and incorporated a pack dynamic to Nation. His attention and focus was on you (the pack leader)….hope rest of training went well. How’s Nation doing now? Not euthanized yet after returning to the same sh!tty/weak ownership situation?
The problem wasn't dealt with after the first time, so it was allowed to become a learned behaviour. If a trainer had been called after the first or second incident, the e-collar may not have been necessary.
true , u should never abuse/be aggressive with dogs. You should teach them how to behave but not with shock collars in that way they will most likely become even more aggressive
@@briandelaney9710 correct; but ignorant people choose to remain that way. I still hear 'electric collar' used nearly 30 years after they went out of availability. E-collar is totally different, but 'shock collar' is a biased term that the ignorant still assert...
It’s not, it’s called an E-collar, they don’t shock or hurt the dog in any way. There are 2 settings, one vibrates and the other is a stim. It’s the same thing as a tens unit that people use. The settings go from 0-100 and I’m sure if you turned it up to 100 it’d shock, but no one in their right mind would turn it up that much. Most dog only need it between 4 and 6 and in cases like this you may turn it up to 25 depending on the situation. People can’t feel it until about a 12 and its a very small tingle, I’d know because I have put it on my own neck to test it out. Don’t go around saying stuff you don’t know.

A dog snapping at another dog would be the same as me telling someone to leave me alone. So in order to correct a dog, the best tools are either a prong, or an E-collar. My Malinois Freya she just turned a year. acts a lot like him. And I’m looking at videos trying to see how to train her . Thanks for all your sharing.
Awesome video

Find a local training dog school for him.

That's a big malinois. He has the same size of that GSG. Some malinois i've seen out there are really small and slim.
How long does a soft tissue tear can heal? Because i think mine has too
listen to this guy.... he has been there and knows what to do to manage a troubled dog, it appears

@EuroS50 we all got our own opinions and its wotever works for that individual person but they do need lots of exercise and mental stability
What kind of muzzle is this
Baskerville Muzzle. let's the dog open its mouth to pant, drink, and even eat.
@@chriscastro4022 this muzzle is only for a belgian malinois right
they're for any dog breed.
We also have a malinois.. and He is aggressive to other dogs he doesn't know or usually see. what should I do??
Use an ecollar and research a lot about how to use it and evrything
I have the same problem with my Malinois
Me too I got mine 2 days ago and he attacked my friend today luckily he’s a small puppy I had a German shepherd before but he was nothing like this
Why is this dog so small? Not typical for malinois

What is that thing called on his head
A basket muzzle. Brand is Baskerville. The dog can pant, during and even take treats with it on.
