- Just a quick reaction on the Oct. 7th, 2023 Kcon in Saudi Arabia, which included our beautiful ladies struttin' their stuff in front of thousands of peope.

They have different roles based on their skill set.
-Handong is the Chinese rep and was the reason for the massive hike in album sales after youth with you. She also had more weibo followers than the dc youtube channel had subscribers.
- Sua represents the group on variety shows since the knetizens love her energy and humor.
-Yoohyeon is the international rep due to her passion for languages and her ability to connect to international fans more. She is often mistaken for the face of the group because she got a lot of centre time as the main character during the nightmare arc. I'd say she is the closest to a center we have because of how many titles we had with her but the centre position keeps changing.
-Jiu is the actual face of the group generally speaking being the first person approached for adverts. She was HFC's star trainee when she debuted and the Korean public was and has remained obsessed with her since minx and she blew up further with mixnine when she went viral as the red haired girl.
-Siyeon is the japanese rep because she is fluent in the language as well as the one that represents the group in the industry through competitions and osts. She has the most non-dc commercial projects out of all of them. Being one of the only rock vocalists in kpop and a core element of DC's sound she is the one who has to showcase that. That's a lot of pressure honestly.
-Dami is more involved in the production and composition sphere and does less commercial work.
-Gahyeon is generally less involved in promotional activities and it seems to be by choice. She tends to focus more on retaining popularity by keeping fans engaged through vlogs and vlive content along with Yoohyeon.
Overall Siyeon and Dami are the stan attractors or members that people know about before they get into the group and the reason they start following as well as the most involved in the actual music industry itself, while the face of the group for the general public changes based on region.
Thank you for the clarification. I did notice that Yoohyeon did a lot of the talking with international scenes. Also, Sua is seated closest to the MCs during variety shows. I really didn’t get to appreciate Siyeon’s voice until I started filming with headphones. Which was weird I know!

For me i felt like Dreamcatcher was a unique group when I started diving into them because people always spoke of 'visual/ centre of the group' as an actual role but dreamcather never really spoke of such things and i find it nice that its basically the whole group has visuals and their own visual✨
Jiu is the official visual tho she is often praise for that 🤔
They definitely have their individual charms.

There is no official position but most fans would agree Jiu is the face of the group and center maybe Yoohyeon/Jiu.
