  • The Philadelphia Union bounced back from their 1-0 loss to the Columbus Crew on Wednesday with a 2-0 win over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, bringing their record to 7-11-9 (30 points). This result keeps them just one point behind Atlanta United for the final playoff spot. Mikael Uhre scored his first MLS goal since June 15th against Inter Miami, marking his third consecutive season with 10 goals for the Union. Meanwhile, Tai Baribo continued his hot streak, scoring his seventh goal in the last five games across all competitions for the Union. Andre Blake secured his first clean sheet since August 9th against CF Montréal in the Leagues Cup.

    Starting to consistently see these great passes by DJJ. His ligue 1 experience is showing. Really excited to continue seeing him and also excited to see if/when he plays in his more natural position at the 8 and what he can do there.

    Also that run by mcglynn after he passes the ball is amazing to draw the one defender away from uhre and create a little confusion.

    I was super impressed by DJJ this match, watching him open up so many opportunities is exactly the type of midfielder we need.
