    Thank you so much. After 8 years, your video is still very useful and helpful. Now, I can help my daughter with her Gr.7 math assignment.

      Thanks Yusuf. I pretty much just use my cell phone to make these videos; no extra microphone needed.

    hi... i have a question .. do you change the co-ordinates when reflecting in line y=x.. or do you change the sign.. could you please help.. i dong get that part..

    • @FerranteMath
      @FerranteMath  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ian, you just change the signs when going from the second quadrant to the fourth quadrant. For example, if the coordinates are -2, 1 in the second quadrant, when you reflect across the y=x axis, you switch the signs to 2.-1.

      Hi BP. Transformations are not the easiest to understand. I wish I could think of a way to show you !

      @@FerranteMath Yeah although I get the translation and Rotation, I only find it hard to understand Reflection. I didn't mean to offend you tho, You did great It's just that I think the problem is me. Thank you for the vid tho. And for the quick response, I didn't mean to offend you in any way. Have a great day.
