Should have one universal procedure to bond. If I had SST in my house I would bond it at each end. If lightning was to strike a 50' length at remote end would be afraid of possible fire ball.Glad they spec #6 copper. In our area since 1981 are not allowed to use aluminum wire for a ground or bonding.

A gas appliance connector isn't a part we sell, so we recommend referencing the code that the flex connector is made to, and following that.
