      Thanks for your lessons! I am very interested in the lessons in which different objects are divided into layers (I use them when cutting cardboard)

    Hi, thanks for this video. I have a question regarding surfaces, is it possible to link multiple surfaces to gather and compute as one surface? I tried to apply the technique you teach on 5 linked surfaces but it's running like 5 different algorithm on each surface.

    Nice. how would you make a solid pattern on the main surface which is not flat without crashing Grasshopper solver? That's what I'm trying to do.

    thanks for your turitors. they are amazing. Just got a question, do you know why panelingtools was installed into Rhino instead of GH? thanks, appreciate it.

      Paneling tools is a plugin for both grasshopper and rhino... when installed you should have it in grasshopper too

    Hi, Thank you for this amazing tutorial. I had a question regarding 'pulling' these circular curves on a 3dimensional surface. Any insight will be highly appreciated.
    Best.

    hi I tried with a Torus, and the grid will fail with the attractor at certail points. this happens with other closed surfaces too, is there a way to solve the problem? Thanks~

    Despite setting multiple points, I could not connect two "MD Sliders" to Point of "Evaluate Surface". Could you please help me to solve this issue?

    TRULY -a remarkable tutorial, Sir. However, add in like attractor will distract normal path. Better to use native functions of GH even if path is long I believe...

    Hi, great tutorial! I am wondering if there is a way to use my own profile curve instead of the circles? I have been trying to figure it out but still learning grasshopper. Thanks!

      You're welcome Octavio
      Yes you can simply use any shape for the custom paneling components.

    Hi, I'm making a model of the Heydar Aliyev Centre using GH for the panelling, I'm trying to find some way of connecting the panels into one geometry so it can be 3D printed. If possible I would greatly appreciate your help :)

    Super Cool, It adds visual complexity once can easily start deforming the regular grid/mesh patterns. Is it possible to use a surface extracted say from a Peacock ring definition and then apply a similar definition like above and then have this projected back onto the Peacock ring definition? Many thanks :)

    • @ParametricHouse
      @ParametricHouse  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sure! This can be done on any nurbs surface. Pull the circles back on the ring base surface and split it!

    Question : Panelling tool for version 7 ? Answer : Get file for version 6. Rename file extension to .zip. Open the file. For files having extension of .dll copy past to plugins directory of rhino. For file with *.gha extension copy paste in /grasshopper/components folder. For file with .rui extension, search on C:/ drive and find location of another .rui file. Copy and paste this .rui file there. Should work.
