I'm a OnePlus 9 pro user and it's been 2 years..m very happy using it after switching from using iphone for almost 5 years ..I would switch to the OnePlus 12 next year..
Sadly the OnePlus 12 will not be as good as the OnePlus 9 the chip set will be better but it will not have the same quality screen will not have the same quality wide-angle lens
Well, I've used the One Plus 9 Pro since it came out and I haven't had any issues. I get it that there might be certain shortcomings here and there, and in this video, it seems the external recording issue is front and center. For a "regular" user like me, this is a non-issue. The phone works well, it's quite speedy, the display is beautiful and it does allow me to take awesome pictures. At this phone's price point, I think it is as good as it can get. Paying double (or more) for barely noticeable or useful features should be a non-starter concern for any value-conscious shopper. Like me.
Same my only issue I've had is with the oneplus watch it's a joke tbh.. When I do change more then likely will go with a Samsung s2x ultra maybe a 24 ultra but not sure yet as I want a Samsung watch to go with it
After the 8 Pro, the 9 Pro has an overall aesthetic design that looks and feels perfect. The back panel itself looks and feels like it's not a separate part but rather the entire body from the display to the back glass
Sorry but I beg to differ. My experience with the OP9 Pro has been nothing short of a nightmare, and especially more so as I live in a tropical state. The phone kept heating up like all the time, even doing simple tasks like browsing on Chrome. And when it heats up, video recording starts becoming jittery or just stops. Recently after just 1.6 yrs of use, the speakers have now stopped working one fine day, and the phone just bricked twice and I lost all data. Also the battery is god awful and drains super fast even when it is idle! When I went to the service center to have the issue with the speakers fixed, they suggested a motherboard replacement which costs about the same as a new OnePlus 9 Pro! What people don't understand is that no matter how fast your phone can charge, if it cannot retain that charge long enough then you will have to spend an equivalent amount of time charging that phone as you would for a slow charging phone that can retain the charge longer. I have had to buy a new Samsung S23 Ultra because of this, and I couldn't be happier as there are almost no issues with it!
My oneplus 9 pro heated up very fast and 120hz QHD would last 3.5H 100%-0% using Google maps, music & google bought a s23 ultra adaptive 120hz QHD used 30% trough the entire day
Thanks for the video :) I recently bought it brand new for $450, and so far I'm extremely happy with the phone specs. However, Bluetooth isn't working, support couldn't help me, and the battery life is desperate. Battery consumption while the screen is locked is devastating.. But all in all, I still think it's the best phone I got for that money.
I have a similar isue with this phone... i can;t connect a gamepad "gamesir x2 usb c" ..... the phone just doesn't detect it.... it's so frustrating.... i tryed like 5 phones and the gamepad works just fine.... but on 9 pro doesn't work ....
The smallest thing that will stop me from moving from OnePlus again (I went huawei after the OnePlus 3 but came back after that) is the patented screen off gestures. I only use one, V for flashlight. But let me tell you... I use that feature everyday multiple times a day.
Ooo… a challange. Ok in every way huh? Here are 5 things where oneplus is better. 01 Oneplus 9pro does wireless charging twice as fast 02 oneplus 9 pro has faster wired charging. 03 oneplus 9pro can record 8k on the ultrawide, the samsung cant. 04 oneplus 9 pro can take 50mp photos on the ultra wide, the s23 only 12. 05 oneplus 9 pro screen has higher pixel density (not that anyone would notice though)
@@TSTechGear 1, you basically listed 4 reasons, 2,the battery is much better on the 23 3, every phone besides the s23 records trash 8k 3, the main lens on the s23 is very wide already and is 200mp !!!! 4, the only reason the one plus has a higher ppi is because they use the same resolution screen but the 23 is a bigger brighter more responsive screen 5, the Samsung has the s pen 6, The Samsung has a heart rate monitor that can read your blood pressure as well.
@YDKMA HI where exactly is the heart rate sensor. BTW I upgraded from my one plus 9 pro to the s23 ultra still have both phones. S23 Ultra is a better phone overall anyday.but yes I do still like my 9 pro just hated oxygen and the battery and the camera .
@kidxtremum802 I loved the oxygen os and the camera and the charging speed made up for the battery but I have a galaxy watch so I never really looked for the heart rate sensor, come to find out they removed it since the s20
I love my OnePlus 9 pro I was a little upset with OnePlus and they were telling me that my phone was broken because they put a bad software update on it and that they wouldn't cover it because it was a Amazon renewed phone. They said that it used to be a display model a terrible but after the software update once it started working great again it was overall a good phone but yes I was also frustrated that I was having challenges using a USB c dongle
@@coolrockboy87 You will love the upgrade, camera and battery wise. That being said the OnePlus 9pro is no sludge, it still performs well and you can get at least 2 more years out of it, now if you really want to upgrade the S23 ultra is a great option, a quick search will show you that everyone making reviews love it.
Well i have a OP 9 Pro 256 day 1 and i have alot of good things to say but at the same time alot of bad. Not gona describe everything here , its well documented on the internet the pros and cons but the main problem for the me is the chipset , yeah you hear it right the SP 888. The phone if you game on a intensive game just burns your hand and even if you use the cam to record video with high settings its always a warn about the heat and that will shut down the app. I dont know if newer revision of OP 9 Pro have this fixed , mine dont and im really considering moving to S23 Ultra since i have right now in Portugal a promo for Model 512GB Black Price 950€ + Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for free. The only thing holding me back to be honest is the battery charging time , S23 Ultra only goes with 45w Wired and 10w Wireless and OP 9 Pro is 65w Wired and 50w Wireless , so a full charge on OP 9 Pro for the 4500mHa bat is about 30 minutes while the S23 Ultra 5000mHa goes for about 1 full hour to charge. As a gaming and photo enthusiast i really dont know what to do , if i wait 1 more year or if its ok to go with S23 Ultra. OP11 dont have wireless charging and for me the cameras design are HORRIBLE to say the least , tbh i really dont understand what OP is doing but for ME since the 9 Series it went downhill.
I had one plus 9 for a year I loved this phone so much that year later I went to swap it for pro version found it on amazon bran new for £489 sold my oneplus 9 for £200 So I payd for my oneplus 9 pro £289 And when it come out 2 year ago it was 899 now thats a mone saving bargin !!

I have this phone since September and overall is good but have some things to improve. The SN888 is a little warm with normal use (navigate, social media...). It's not the better autonomy in android and for me , the bigger issue since de Oppo fusion, the OS is not the old OxygenOS.....now have some issues, is not faster and smooth than years ago....dont like this ColorOS mix... since Carl Pei leave the company, OnePlus is worse in my opinion.
