Any android: 1 After all setting up and updates are done for the first time, turn off auto updates of apps and system 2 Turn off everything you don't use like UWB, NFC, Location etc. 3 Uninstall or disable any and all apps you don't need 4 Turn on Developer settings, where there are maybe 100 settings hidden, but you only need to disable the 3 types of animations, i.e. from 1.5x to 0x/off 5 Turn of dark mode, eye shield, customize color temp, dim wallpaper and use darker wallpapers, as OLED screen don't light up on black thus saving battery 6 Turn adaptive refresh rate, if you can. Some go from 1-120hz, other benefit even if they go from 60-120hz, with 24hz for videos 7 Disable always on Fingerprint sensor and lift to wake. Keep only double tap to wake, trust me... 8 Disable all vibrations except keyboard haptics, unless you are deaf 9 Use auto brightness. Nott only does it go way past max manual brightness, but it goes lower at night and saves battery and eyes. If you think its too bright or too dim, just keep it on auto, manually adjust it, and on android, it will calibrate itself 10 Don't use AOD, just keep 1 tap to show time and notification 11 Disable charging animations, gimmick 12 Turn off Blur, transitions /if the animations didn't do it in step 4) 13 Turn off Smart WIFI and all that geolocation shit 14 Charge battery from 20 to 80% all the time, and 1 or 2x a month from 0/dead to 100% to calibrate it to show proper % 15 Use Brave browser with TH-cam and such, cause it allows background play when you just listen, and saves battery, as display brightness eats most of battery 16 Definitely, disable all AI shit
@@prashanthblade2152 I think there is no "better". In my opinion, Flat displays are better for usability and curved displays are better for comfort and handling. I'm very happy with the curved display of my S23 Ultra, nothing to complain about.

I know... But I personally prefer the smoother animation. The 0.5x animation scales are fast for sure, but I don't mind the slight fraction second for smooth transitions

I strongly disagree with the display portion of the video. I got a chance to use both the s23 plus with a full HD display and the ultra with QHD side by side. The differences were quite evident. The QHD display was sharp and noticeably more vibrant than the FHD display.

I've always had samsung phones and didn't even know that you could use both thumb prints 😅 Set mine up with both now. I have a secure folder for theme bundles that I buy from etsy.
A simple APP LOCK feature Apart from tons of customizations that samsung offers, the 1st & basic feature I always miss in samsung phones is a simple App lock feature. ( Note : I heard that App lock was there a few years ago in Good lock which can be downloaded from galaxy store , but currently App lock is not available on any samsung device )
You could use the Secure Folder feature whereby you put a copy of the app in it. Then you can lock down usage of that app with the profile you want logged in, while still having the actual app in a logged out or logged into another profile outside the folder...

We can't use secure folder for every photo, every contact, every notes. Not everyone wants to hide or maintain a seperate secret folder for photos, notes, contacts. I use setedit (You can also use adb but who's bothered) to restore the old display color modes on my s23u. Vivid is oversaturated and strains my eyes, so I used setedit to restore the "amoled cinema" mode for dci p3 target (I'm pretty sure all Apple devices have this target as well). In my opinion it is the perfect balance for all colours.
Great video! I finally got my Ultra. 😊 I turn AOD off & have lock screen notifications on icon only. I might turn them off altogether. I dont like being bothered & for me, the lock screen is just a nuisance step before I can get to my home screen. I like seeing the clock & a cool wallpaper. Thats it. 😎
I bought the S23 256GB lavender and it's a great phone the battery life is very solid now and it's easy to handle, also the chipset is better than ever! As for the case i use the spigen liquid air black it makes the phone grippy and it's slick instead of the bulky fat cases that turns phone's into bricks, that said i'm really satisfied with the S23 because we always had the exynos trash can chipsets in europe!

Another thing you should have mentioned is that you should unlock the developer options and then set the animation speed to 0.5x
