Ah FX-8350, my first build's CPU! Learned a lot from it, like "don't power a high wattage chip with a chinesium 450w electrical hazard (It claimed the life of two such PSUs before I caught on)" and "how to save money on heating by overclocking on an Arctic Alpine low profile cooler." Good Memories, FX gets a bad rap (somewhat deservedly) but you always remember your first. Love the longform content racoon man, can't wait to see more.

Don't doubt yourself. When I was 12 I never thought I'd even have a job, let alone own a repair shop. Those pictures of my apartment are the actual pictures of the home I grew up in. Never give up, because even if today is horrible, tomorrow is a new day. Start by fixing broken stuff from friends and family, then offer it as a service when you get good enough to charge for it. It's a great hobby but it's difficult to make money, which is why a lot of repair shops can't pay enough for you to work at. Thank you!

Honestly, as someone who had just upgraded from a poopoo starter pc that I learned on to a rig with a 3060ti, and a 5600x, This has been the first video ive seen where someone has actually explained to me what a deadspot in a case was and I should prolly look at remounting my Rad now.
Yeah deadspot no good. Having intake at the top is also not ideal, you'd want an intake fan where the CD drive is on this but unfortunately that wasn't an option here.
I had a FX 8350 for like 5 years that I bought used until I switched to a Ryzen 5 3600. Beautiful processor, although it needed a lot of power to work and heated up like your sister's on a Saturday night at the club. Thanks for the memories ❤ and beautiful work as always!

For a hobbyist, this industry will always thrive. But as a BUSINESS, the Computer Repair industry is dying. At least in the major cities in the US. Rent prices and cost of living are insanely high, and you can only charge so much for labor before the customer refuses the repair. Laptops are getting cheaper, harder (or impossible) to repair, more expensive to repair, and repairing phone's is a whole other world of BS. There's a reason even Geek Squad laid off people. Thanks for the kind words. I'm eternally grateful for all of you and I really do have a great community.

I'm not a PC gamer so this CPU still does what I need it to do. It's been running 24/7 since I built it like 12 years ago. Honestly, I miss the days when the top notch computer cases were like this. It reminds me of corporate logos, they both used to be more complex and unique from each other, but over time became over simplified and now all look nearly the same. I also like dyed transparent plastic, which reminds me of stuff like the N64 and Gameboys, can't find anything like that anymore accept for on the used market.

finally, the long video about the cyberproblems computer. as someone who has owned a pc bought by them before, had many awful experiences with that computer i ended up fixing myself. one of the only 2 fans cooling the computer broke only 6 months after i got it. power supply died only a year later. figured out jt was some random ali-express looking power supply. replaced it with an arguably just as bad thermaltake power supply from best buy for $60. fixing all that myself got me way more into tech and i guess technically is the reason im here watching this video in some ways. .... thank you cyberpower... but also, f*ck you cyberpower. biggest waste of $1000 i ever spent
