    I have the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation. It has broken me out in the past, but I've learned when to use it so that it doesn't. I only use it when my skin is feeling really dry and with a good coat of moisturizer underneath. That way, my skin doesn't try to drink in the foundation for moisture. If my skin's feeling the slightest bit oily, I steer clear. I like that it doesn't have SPF which shows up in pictures. It's definitely not an everyday foundation--I mostly wear it out.

    the clean and clear system dries my skin so much - but the individual products from clean and clear are so good!
    my absolute FAVORITE moisturizer is Clean & Clear Oil Free Dual Action Moisturizer - it isn't too heavy and it leaves my skin so soft after just a few minutes! i put it on before my foundation and it works great :)

    The clean and clear stuff makes my face red too! And it leaves my skin feeling really dry. I love you Blair!

    I have the sephora blockbuster, and I love it!
    It smells a little weird but they shadows are very pigmented, as well as the blushes and lip glosses.

    I'm not a fan of the dream matte mouse. It didn't make me break out, but it made my skin intensely dry. I now mix it with moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer, which seems to work nicely.

    something that really works for blemishes and acne is this spot neutralizer by 'Thali'on" but the thing is that its pretty expensive for only 15mls, i think its like $60 canadian, but it really really works, like i use it religiously and another thing that i use thats really good is the evian mineral spray, its really hydrating and makes my skin really soft

    i only have the on the spot acne treatment from clean and clear and it works so well for me, within about an hour the redness is gone and maybe a day or two the whole blemish has disappeared! its my favorite

    The clean and clear thing, one of their products that you put on blemishes and it works fantastic for me. I guess in the end, every skin will react different to certain things.

    I have the spot treatment and I really love it! I dont use the face wash because it makes me red and I dont like the way the lotion makes me face feel, but the spot treatment does wonders and you can buy it individually like I do if its the only step you like. (:

    i had the dream matte mousse foundation, and it didnt make me break out, it just clogged my pores soo soo much! i had also bought the dream matte mousse blush, and i noticed it did not wash off so easily, and i dont like scrubbing at my face to get blush off my face!

    My sister has that Sephora makeup palette with eyeshadows, blushs, lipglosses... I personally think that it's a good buy. Even though the pigmentation isn't like MAC, you can make any eyeshadows pop out with a nice white or black base.

    Blair,
    hi my aunt is an esstitation like dealing with skin and skin treatment and becayse of her i rarely have a zit on my face but she said that the dream mousse when it is applied it fills your pours with the product and thats what makes you breakout from the product! i hope that helped:)

    Hi Blair! I have the Naked Honey Skin Salve and I love it! I use it everyday especially at night on my lips. Since it's cold here my lips dry up really bad and this makes them sooo soft and not crack. I also use it on my elbows and hands at times and I love it. Just sad I didn't stock up or get a back up when I first got it.

    i actually have the InStyler curling, and it is amazing! it leaves my hair really shiny and the curls actually hold without me putting much product on it.

    I have the ELF liquid liner, and i like it on OCCASION. Mine doesnt smell at all so i dont know what happened with yours, i prefer their studio cream eye liner that you apply with a brush. I also dont reccomend any type of felt tip eye liner because they run out really quick or they will look great for a while but wear down and not be as defined of a line.

  • @MMHazelnutLatte
    @MMHazelnutLatte 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    the clean and clear spot treatment (just the small tube) works really well alone. you should try it when you have like 1 zit that you want to get rid of. it works really well!

    i have the photo finish light primer, and it used to make me breakout so i stopped using it. now that my skin is way clearer (thanks to clinique 3-step and this cream called Benzaclin--look it up!) i'm using it again, little by little, and it's not so bad anymore! i also have the dream matte mousse blush and it gave me a rash on my cheeks!! something i regret buying are the products from the revlon matte collection! the lipstick makes my lips dry and the shadows aren't pigmented whatsoever!

  • @BrownieDropOut
    @BrownieDropOut 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    i agree about the shadesticks too. i bought quite a few, but i found out that the nyx ones are so much better! so now, i'm trying to use them all up for back to mac.

    I regret buying Veet's "prevent-under-the-skin-hairs-or-whatever". I only used it in one leg and I didn't notice any difference between the 2 one month later.
    I regret buying any Garnier Shampoo (Fructis, etc) it left my hair so dry! I love Syoss' and Llogueras hairmask though!
    The Total Face brush from Elf- I don't feel like it does a good job. and I'm still deciding if I regret buying their mineral foundation aswell. today worked pretty good - but it doesn't give me the coverage I want.

  • @garlicnoodles
    @garlicnoodles 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Garnier Fructis bamboo aerosol hairspray...it didn't hold in my hairstyle, it just made my hair kind of crunchy (but it did smell good).
    Revlon nail polish...the color wasn't very pigmented and when I finally had enough layers to look decent it was IMPOSSIBLE to remove.

    I had the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation and I have combination skin and it made the oily parts of my skin break out and the dry parts went super dry and flaked really bad. I regret buying that. But I love the Smashbox Primer, I couldnt live without it.

    i regret buying the pulse perfection?? vibrating mascara because it clumps very easy and splits your lashes and also the wave because i dont really use it. i love the 3 step clean and clear you showed it totally cleared me up but it to me a while to get the hand of it.

  • @jprompinit
    @jprompinit 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. I don't wear it often enough to know if it breaks me out though.
    I regret buying Maybelline's Lash Stilletto Mascara and Loreal's Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara. They both weigh my lashes down and don't hold a curl.

  • @xhaziie
    @xhaziie 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    garnier melt-in mask, its surposed to be used as a conditioner and give you 'silky waves' (my hair dries wavy, so it cant b that hard)
    MY HAIR WENT ALL FRIZZY!
    i put it in b4 a festival and left it wet to dry while i walked to the bus stop, cos i was late. and i was at the festival with frizzy hair..

    For spot treatment, I just use a topical acne medication prescribed by my doctor. If you have bad acne and oily skin, I highly reccomend seeing your doctor and using the Vichy Norma derm line!!! It's the best, and I love the facial scrub.
    Your eye makeup looks pretty, but I think the blush is a bit too dark.
    =)

    I bought the Clean & Clear 3 step acne system that you had last year or the year before and it had the same effect on my skin that it did on yours.
    There is this really inexpensive acne treatment that I got at CVS a few years ago I believe it's called Terminator 10 and all it is is a leave on cream that you can use as a spot treatment or if you prefer your whole face and it really helped clear my skin up. The only think I don't like about it is that it dries out my skin.

  • @emmysa
    @emmysa 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Mary Kay Acne System is not for those with sensitive skin. I used it once for the first time and my face felt like sand paper and i had spots with sores too. I even went to the doctor to check on it. I did not go to school either since it hurted and I looked terrible.
    But on the other side my brother had acne problems and it works on him. So it all depends on you're skin type. For me it had consequenses for others it will work!

  • @Champagane

    I slightly regret buying some of the MAC makeup brushes, but only because they were so expensive. I bought a set of 12 brushes from coastalscents and they work just as well as the MAC ones, but all 12 were cheaper than one MAC brush. My friend also uses the same foundation and she is always breaking out, so I will let her know to try switching to see if that helps.

  • @DollFaceHottie
    @DollFaceHottie 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    I had the Clean&Clear Kit too! I like it though, but I don't get red easily, and my skin isn't sensitive at all [:. I agree I was convinced to get the MAC shade sticks, and I really wish I would have just gotten the Jumbo pencils, but I haven't because I said "I am going to use this before buying anymore of these!". I have the SmashBox Apriot primer, I like it [: Maybe it makes my face a little to oily though. It might be because of my Satin Finish Foundation though, I'll try it with Studio Fix.

    Oh my gosh, I love Woodwinked & Rubenesque PP. They're gorgeous colors. To each his own, I guess.
    It's true the glosses from MAC are sticky, but the color payoff is kinda divine.

    I have the mac honey i washed the kids and i really like it! It is really oily, but i put it on my elbows, put on a long sleeved shirt, and go to bed. In the morning my elbows are soft and they still smell really delicious!
    i hope this helps you with the product :)

    I have found that the Clean & Clear Advanced Spot Treatment works really well for me!I wear glasses, so I put it on the bridge of my nose and my temples. I also use it on my chin, where I get my worst breakouts.. I don't know about the rest of the kit though, I guess I'll just take your word for it!
    P.S. What were the shadow pencils you compared the MAC ones to?

    Same thing happended to me when I used Proactive!! The refining mask is amazing-but Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask works even better! I have super oily skin too-and the only products that work for me are from Clinique-they control oil and totally get rid of acne:)

    I used the clean and clear 3 step acne thing too, and I didn't like it much either. But I still had a little faith in the clean and clear brand and I bought the black head eraser deal, I dont have horrible black heads but I do have kind of flakey dry skin and it totally made my skin soft and moisturized. after you use it your skin feels SO soft. and it did help clear up skin :D

    the clean and clear moisturizer. it didnt make my face red but it was really oily.

  • @MacenMadness
    @MacenMadness 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    i regret buying the clean and clear redness control, because ironically it actually makes my face far more red. also the revlon double twist mascara, it doesnt give you volume or thickness unless you apply it like 10 times. also any felt tip pen liner, because i noticed that after like a few uses the tip bends so much that you cant really get the color out anymore. and i only use the clean and clear spot treatment that works for me the rest doesnt.

    I have the same type of hair, but now I'm using Pantene Beautiful Lenghts (shampoo and conditioner).
    When I rinse the conditioner I use a comb.
    After the shower I just apply CHI Straight Guard (smoothing styling cream).
    And that's it! (Do not brush you hair).
    It works!

    I used the Clean and Clear acne kit. I loved it the first three days. My skin cleared up, it was soft and fresh and oil free. Day four it dried out and turned red as well. None of my moisturizers could cure the tight flaky skin it gave me.

    Morning burst doesn't say anything about fighting acne. Well, maybe the green one does but the orange was doesn't.
    I like the way it makes my face tingle. And it doesn't dry my face out

    i love the mac shade sticks!! use them daily!! the trick is to warm em up a bit by rolling them between ur warm hands! i regret buying Max factor eyeshadow trio with bright purple turquoise and yellow!! the colors never seemed to show even with primer and layering!! just not enuff pigment i suppose! Oh and the cover girl lipstain! bought 4 diff colors and they all turned out to look funky!! and they dont stay that well either!! i love my Vincent Longo stain in liquid kiss!!!

    Hey blair I recommend the Tresemme Color Thrive shampoo and conditioner - I used to use bumble and bumble but when It ran out I got the Tresemme products as a temporary replacement but I have not gone back since because it makes my hair smell great, soooo soft and sooo shiny. It is absolutely the best shampoo/conditioner that I have ever used! Plus it is made for colored hair and comes in blonde, brunette or red!!! :) xoxo

    I LOVE Smashbox PhotoFinish Light Foundation Primer. It's the only product that keeps my makeup from sliding off my face. I regret using Proactiv for so long. It cleared up my skin for a while, then it my skin broke out so horribly bad. On top of breaking me out, it gave me a horrible chemical burn all over my face.

  • @CrazyAmberRun

    i regretted buying the paul mitchell too.
    i just recently got Aussie Moist Shampoo & some random Tresemme conditioner for dry/frizzy hair, for around 5 bucks for both, and i'm in love with them.
    more so the Aussie Moist, because it's made my hair so soft and protected so well against split ends i rarely have to use the conditioner.
    even during the winter.
    it's amazing how cheap products sometimes are better.

  • @RoseLNguyen
    @RoseLNguyen 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    Oh, I also regret buying the CHI ionic color hair conditioner and shampoo. It did the same thing to my hair as your Paul Mitchell set. Also, I regretted buying the GHD rare flat iron (which is basically the IV iron). It did the same thing as my Ultra Chi. It was as fast as the GHD, and it worked the same, so I returned it yesterday at Sephora and got my full money back.

    I looove the dream matte mouse foundation...That is the only foundation that doesn't make my makeup feel thick and it does the job for me. Im glad that it doesn't break my skin out...It stinks that it made you break out.

    •Bobbi brown pot rouge; I was talked into this by the sales assistant, it was hard to apply onto my skin and the colour was too strong.
    •Chanel matte lumier foundation; I found this foundation hard to apply it was too thick and it smelt really bad.
    •Chanel tweed blusher; the pigmentation was really poor it hardly showed up on my skin
    •Chanel eye shadow quad in spice; the pigmentation was bad and the colours were matte which I didnt realise as I like shimmering eye shadows.

    I regret buying the Nair Shower Power hair remover, the green one. I really wanted to try Nair, and I bought it without researching it first. Online, I heard nothing but bad things about it, like how bad it burns and that it leaves scabs and scars. I let my sister use it first and she had the same experience: scabs the length of her calves for a week! I still have yet to try it, and don't think I ever will.

    Hey my regret is deffo bobbi brown oil free compact foundation, I adore the colour range but it breaks me out, slides off in like an hour and creases :( Vile!
    Little off topic but if you can buy it near you try Avene skincare, it's specifically for sensitive skin but they do acne/blemish prone and oil control products and they work so well, so gentle! Also would love to know what you think of dermalogica daily microfoliant if you've tried it? Also amazing for keeping skin clear and soft.. x

    I used to use this acne system called "Acne Free" and it was just a cheap brand like clean and clear- so bad, it dried my skin out in the worst way. I also used the Dream Mousse and it made me break out as well, and was hard to blend.

    i regret the covergirl smokey shadow blast stick. it is a cream eye shadow and it creases super easy. deffinatly not worth $8!
    i also regret the neutrogena 3 step skin care system. it has a very weird texture and it did not help my acne. if anything, it made it worse!

  • @samilenord09

    i used to use the paul mitchell shampoo and conditioner as well for sometime because it was recommened by my salon.
    but it made my hair extremelly brittle and greasy as well.
    my mom uses it and really likes it but its because she styles her hair so much it works perfectly for her and she always says i used to much.
    you cant use much or it will apparently overkill your hair. lol

    the Burts Bees Pore Exfoliator works rlly well if u wanna try that. I sorta have sensitive skin, and Burts Bees products are made from natural ingredients, it makes my skin feel so soft, and i breakout once every month or two ever since i started using it. Plus, it costs $5-8 in drug stores; all the more better! :D Try it

    I agree with the MAC shadesticks! I was so excited about the Warm and Cozy collection shadesticks so I went out and got one and I really do regret it because the colour is hard to get out and it sort of disappears after a while, leaving the colour splotchy and uneven! Major disappointment!

    i know this is going to sound really gross, but i use the mac honey skin salve on my face whenever I get flaky skin around acne. It works soo good for stuff like that especially cause i use sulfur to dry up the blemish and all of the skin around it gets really dry

    I have the Clean & Clear 3 Step system thing. It makes my skin a bit red but it has kept it clearer. Have you tried using less of it? Or using it less often? Thats what the box says, and I'm sure if I used more than I do or used it more often it would bother me too but I only use it like every other day.

    What I don't like that I bought before was the Catwalk brand oatmeal and honey shampoo and conditioner. I bought it for a long time and thought it was helping, but then my hairdresser mentioned that my hair still had a bunch of split ends, and I noticed that it really didn't feel that good.

    I regret buying lush massage bars because it made my skin greasy. Also, I didn't like body shop's tea tree oil products. It made my skin red, dry, and didn't help with my acne at all. I also didn't like aveeno's soy extract cleanser because it didn't work with my acne prone skin and made my skin itchy.

    OMG last year i was trying everything to get my face clear! so i went to ulta and i got the clean and clear thing because it looked really good, i used it and it looked and felt like i had just stuck my head in an oven! it cleared up my skin but it was so not worth it! and it was in the winter and my friend said "how did you get sunburnt" then i realized i should just stop using it!

    I like how you are true. A lot of beauty gurus never turn down MAC products because everyone loves it! But i am glad that you are actually voicing your own opinion and not what others think of the products
    Love the video xxx

    I bought epil stop for hair removal. It says makes the hair finer and that it removes it completely. BS, my hair started to get all weird and smelled horrible, plus it didn't really do the job. I went back to waxing.
    Another product is the Physicians Formula dermabrasion system. It's not expensive but I don't really use it. The reason is 'cause it's not that effective, I think it really is a waste of money but I really like the moisturizing cream.

    I know that you love the clinique 3 step acne system and i have dry skin and wanna try it out. is it worth the money? proactive was horrible, i didn't notice anything different! and if you need a new shampoo and conditioner i definitely recommend REDKIN! for color treated hair! trust me! it makes my hair soft and helps my color last longer! (:

    I bought the MAC shadesticks in cuddle and i think gentle (not sure) but i dont like them at all i think they don't give a lot of color unless you put LOTS of it on and it make my eyes burn. So, i use the NYX ones i love them ! (:

    I regret buying the Clinique 3 Step Skin Care...I returned it though. I used it for one month, and it broke me out really bad. My skin is just so sensitive to new products after being used to my dermatologist recommended routine

    I regret buying the neutragena on-the-spot pimple control product. It made my skin really red and dry. I have really sensative skin though. :)

    I don't have the Dream Matte Foundation from Maybelline but I had the blush. I liked the color, but when I went back to use it again it seemed to have harden in the pot. No longer buying that!

    Clean & Clear has Sal. Acid in it and it made my face red too because it burned in sensitive skin!

    I use the original acne-free system, its 3 steps, and it worked really good, once i got rid of my acne, then i just had to use the face wash! I swear by it!
    Of course I still get the "once a month" pimples, but if i use the system it clears it clears it right up! I love it!
    my brothers tried it too! it worked really well for them.
