I'm surprised Titleist has just a 100k subscribers but the content is so good.

Faxon was almost giggling after that second pitch shot. It was so pure and had a ton of spin. The chip is safer....but man, a great spinney pitch is so much fun.

This was actually a fantastic video. I've been trying to describe to my dad how to hit the simple "chip" shot, because I really feel like for amateurs/high handicappers its often the only shot you'll need! way more consistent not bringing the wrists/club release into play, and instead playing with a closed face and stiffer wrists through impact. It removes the dreaded "skull shot" across the green entirely.

A very clear explanation of the pitch and chip shot. I love the way Brad teaches!

How do you avoid digging with front edge when chipping with hands ahead?

As for "which/when", 'how much Height do I need to elevate above Anything between the Ball and the Hole to Carry onto the Green?' is the Question I ask myself.

Great content. On my course in Spain there’s lots of situations where the 30 to 50 yard pitch shots are from very tight lies. Result is many chunked shots🥲
    Can you suggest anything please!!!’

For an ametuer golfer...what might be the max distance you would use the 60 degree wedge to the green? Thanks

      I use a full swing 60 degree for about 65 yards…

Both chips to my coach, just different release. No-one is wrong, we just need to make we know what coaches call things.

Surprised you're not using lower lofted clubs to demonstrate various options. Short Game Chef recommends lower lofted clubs depending on several factors for non-pros. Based on what appears to be fairly level terrain and a flag that's not short sided, I'd practice this with a fairway wood, hybrid, maybe a 9 iron and for sure 50 & 54 degree wedges.

what else is the best way to demonstrate the different "shots" from the same club without associating shots with a specific club? When you start to think I hit a pitch with 60 and chip with a p wedge, that is personal preference, not explaining how to hit the shots. What Faxon did here is to show the shot is about how you hit it, not what the club you use.

Interesting how whenever I watch a video like this the pros stress playing the high percentage shot and some yahoo on TH-cam stress the low percentage shot. It makes since why TW says don’t watch TH-cam.
