    I'm trying to use Ableton to manage my EQ and reverb for my guitar vocal. Is there a way that I can hear the effect in my headphones while I'm preforming?

    If you right or two finger click the "Pan" knob you can change it from a balance knob to true pan.

    Excellent, nice one Leon! Your sound is alway top top on stream. I did wonder why you switched to the Shure mic, do you find it that much better than the Rode? Cheers, Phil.

    Why don't you use one of the stereo Channels on the Mixer for your Electric guitar? :)

    Heyyyy bro! Thank you so much for sharing! Really helps!
    Just a question, how do you monitor yourself?
    I've been using a RC-30 on my chain and monitor on my DAW, but it gets really hard to listen to the loop while I'm playing the guitar. Any ideas on how to solve this?
    Thanks again! You rock!

    Appreciate these videos man! I'm planning to start up streaming on twitch again. idk why I had never thought of going through a mixer into the loop pedal, I have to look into that. I think it'd help alot with the mix of my piano too, the audio from my keyboard using the 1/4" cable into the rc300 gets a bit grainy coming out my amp. Do you always use headphones, or do you monitor through an amp too? I use logic and I ended up just turning monitoring on multiple tracks in Logic and capturing the desktop audio in OBS and muting my speakers and suboutputting my looper to the amp. It was such a headache trying to figure that out lol I'm sure there must be an easier way... Just sucks that I can't hear speaker sounds tho I just need to use the headphones if I want to hear the sounds computer sound

    Thank you so much Leon! Is it possible to trigger the reverb/delay in ableton without having the ableton window in focus?

    • @ColleenDauncey
      @ColleenDauncey 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm sure Leon will answer this too, but yes it is! You can midi map the on/off for any of your effects to a key/pad/pedal/device. What I did get was get a midi pedal and map it to that, so I don't even have to use my hands to turn reverb on and off between songs, and it works whether the Ableton window is in focus or not!

    Do you need a DI box for any of the guitars going to the mixer? Thanks

    Instead of a Mixer !@Leon... Can one just use a DAW to accomplish close to the same thing ??

    • @LeonBrattMusic
      @LeonBrattMusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to use a mixer or audio interface at some point to get all instruments in. You could eliminate the mixer by using a decent audio interface which has enough inputs, then you can control all inputs separately within a DAW, with much more accuracy 👍🏽

    I am needing help setting sound up using obs and presonus interface . I really want a nice sound for videos but everything I do sounds metallic and bad. That was with guitar straight into interface. I did try filter and chains but I really don’t know how to do all that. That is where I need help really bad. I want the Kathy Mattea tone like listen to her on asking us to dance either live or official video. Her live tone is beautiful, both are I love her music in that it’s that perfect tone to escape to. Please if you know how to achieve even a slight bit of that both in the vocal and guitar for live stream I’d be so grateful to know how to dial that in. I don’t know how to do the production stuff. Id be the happiest singer if I could just get this right. I left my really awful video up no matter what I did it wasn’t helping but maybe you can.
