I know that she’s going to be a street car, but the options are open for future upgrades, such as a Kenne Bell or whatever you might choose to do, if, what, and when you wanted to do it. A built 10 speed auto will handle it!! I KNOW that manuals are a Lot of fun, but you already have one that in YOUR ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS SHELBY!! I have the Tremic 6060 in my GT500 “Xena”, (3.6L LC Kenne Bell kit, Comp Cams Stage 3 Cams, Complete BMR tubed front to back, and so much more), and you know yourself that a stick is a LOT OF FUN, BUT there’s SO Many times that I wished that I had the 10speed auto in her! This is just my opinion and I know everyone has one, but you already have a stick so I just figured that you could have both, and do some comparison vids, pro’s, cons of each one or whatever you came up with..... You’ll need a gen 2 or better, cams, valve springs, oil pump gears, crank sprocket, timing setup and a cobrajet. I’m wanting to do a high compression build for 9kish rpm and hopefully 600 wheel na. Commented this before the end so here’s my answers. Lund tune is what I plan. Pbd is a close second I believe. 6r80 if you want to stay auto. The 18 manifold will be absolutely terrible for cams. The boss out performs the gt350 all day. With cams you’ll need a ported boss Intake or go cobra jet. It’s the one that makes flat power up to 9k rpm. Ported 18 manifold falls off at 7500 hard and makes peak power that an unported CJ holds out.

I completely agree with you suggesting Lund or PBD for tuning, but I think a built 10speed with a good converter is the way that I would go. Either way, it sounds like you’ve got a bad ass build planned, and it would be great to see it happen!! Do you have a channel, just wondering because I’d definitely want to see that build happen!! ✌️
Eightball23 Coop thanks! I do have a channel but it’s a slow start. quick vik has a few short videos. Built 10 speed would be great but I think they work better on peaky engines. Running a good flat power curve you can get away with a 6r80. I bet it’d be close between the 2... I try looking for information through reputable sources and collect that way. That and seeing who has setups that work best. Not an expert but learning more as I can

have you thought on chroming the trim again? the wheels on Beverly look really out of place, some Eleanor wheels and chrome trim would look insanely clean
the CJ is the best perfroming manifold, espically when you are talking N/A. Out performs the GT and 18, what makes the 18 so good is the cost. also go get a TKX you dont have to cut a tunnel and its desigened to shift at 7k also designed to hold 650 ft lbs continuisuly not peak which is huge.
Whats the purpose of having the cam ground by L&M. I don’t know the company I’m sure it’s a great company but comp cams also custom grinds cams for you. My mechanic spoke with comp cams to custom grind our camshaft to exactly what we were looking for and according to the specs of the engine. Just thought that was odd getting a comp cams camshaft to have it ground by someone else. Otherwise just buy the cam from L&M.
I was looking at a 66 convertible today and it would be my only car. I wanted to know how I should prepare for winter and try to keep rust off the bottom. I live in a place where we don’t get many inches of snow, but we get it very frequently. Do you know how I can prepare for it and keep rust and corrosion off the undercarriage?
I'm curious if you bought a stripped gen 1 coyote then added the aftermarket everything or a gen 2 or 3 completed and added everything. I'll say that I think you're going to have to do a lot of work to get an automatic transmission crammed in there anyways like cut up the transmission wall, so it'll be around the same amount of work for either manual or automatic
Aftermarket cams doesn’t necessarily mean “chop”. You want chop you should of locked the cams and got rid of the phasers. Also 500+whp on low compression? Doubt it. Coyotes love rpm so i think you’ll make power all the way up to 8500🤔 if you would of bumped up the compression i think you would of had a chance to hit 500+
Do you think you will end up doing a chassis from speedtech or something? Chassis stiffening? I know the early unitbody mustangs are prone to warp the body with higher hp. Also if you plan on tracking it hard you may want to change uo the front shock towers, as the angle is funky on them stock
