The term “the Ukraine” was used as if it meant “border region”, first by the Russian Empire and then by the Soviets. But the people never forgot their identity. Ukraine is the largest country by area that is completely in Europe. And it is very big east to west. It would be hard to enforce a no-fly zone without basing aircraft in Ukraine. That’s why Russia had to operate out of Belarus.

Bear break ins are normal in Tahoe. Its the Tahoe keys semi annual residents making complaints. Also coyotes will eat your cat. We’ve had both. Coyotes ate our cat and another time a bear broke in and left with a Costco size chip bag. My takeaways are don’t bring cats to Tahoe and call south lake taheo glass and door when the bear breaks in. They are our neighbors and are good People. Replaced our window for cheap.
