I know projects don't always go as planned or desired. But with the correct attitude, you've simply traded some time and material for knowledge and experience. Thank you both for sharing.

A fascinating tale of two builds, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Very interesting conclusions about how the size of a building is affected by the "affluence" of the its location and how these affect a building's suitability for a model. Thanks very much to both of you for making and sharing this great video!

Hi Liam, after finding your channel from watching Chandwell, I’ve just binge watched your entire output. I’m really enjoying your scratch building content.

Hi Liam, lol! What a great project and to be fair both buildings were excellent if not quite right on each other’s respective layouts. I’m often intrigued by buildings we all make, now both you and Michael have your own styles and although the buildings kind of look the same I could probably tell whose is who just by the style, if they were the same size of course. It’s like two artists painting the same thing, they’ll be different. Anyway enough of my ramblings, thoroughly enjoyed both videos, cheers Liam, John

Lovely collaboration between yourself and Michael.
Having just popped over from Chandwell to see how the other building looked on your layout.
I hope there's another joint effort in the future... oh, and your invoice was a great laugh 😃

Thank you for this Liam! A thoroughly enjoyable project. I loved working on this 3mm building with you. Maybe we can do it again one day and get it right next time! And remember... these buildings are very, very FRIGILE! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

This is terrific! Both you and Michael serve as my inspiration for the scratch building I'm doing on my layout -- I recently bought a Cricut as a result of seeing you use one -- so seeing you two come together like this is even more inspiring than the two of you are individually.

Thanks for the kind feedback. How are you getting on with the Cricut? It’s quite a long learning curve!

@@deansburytownmodelrailway5056 Indeed! So much to learn, but the incredible detail possible is amazing. It will real help bring my model building to the next level. Thanks again for the inspiration.

Very cool layout of yours, Liam. This cooperation of two very gifted model builders like you and Michael ist always great to watch. Scale is always a problem which hunts every model builder, cause sticking to exact scalation like a slave might lead to wrong outcomes. But in the case of you both the whole circumstances have been very difficult (building "blindly"). Anyway: The buildings are wonderful anyway and I loved the way, you both took it with a smile.
    All the best from Germany!
    Valentin

Hi, thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel. Yes you are right, what is correct in the real world does not always work exactly in the mode world so we have to adapt! Thank you

Nice to find your channel thru Michael’s. I also work in OO scale so I’m looking forward to binge watching your videos. Strange how you both neglected the paper mock-up stage, however the issue would have been identified earlier if you were building for your own layout at the first test fit. At least you’ll be able to use Michael’s build somewhere on your layout … I don’t think Michael will be able to use yours, sadly.

Interesting project and funny how neither building quite fits in the respective layouts. Given how often Michael redoes something he's not quite happy with perhaps this was inevitable. I've just subscribed to your channel on the back of this, so I'm not familiar with your methods yet! But I look forward to catching up. Not to take away at all from either build - still very nice in their own right. Cheers
