Very good and very informative. I absolutely love all the tech Tips on all your videos. I always learn something on every video you post. Thank you Calas. Aka Sea-Doo Master!
Appreciate the knowledge. I know it takes a lot just to do the work. But to do the work and make the films plus everything else takes way more. So thank you for this!
You make the most informative videos, as a technician my self it’s awesome!! I wish our Canadian dollar wasn’t so low in value I would love to buy our camshaft and your other parts
I've rebuilt maybe 75 engines over the years, and one thing I always do is Plasticgauge the main, and rod bearings before I close it up. I've had so many machine shops screw up my cranks, and cylinder specs for new pistons. And I used a couple top race engine building shops all over the country, and they still screw up things. I don't trust anybody's machining work these days.
I am building a 2011 RXT 260. I am using the same Wiseco Pistons. Do you have any recommendations for ring end gaps size or should I say Tolerance.? Or should I go by manufacturer tolerances? Your input would be greatly appreciated.. I've learned a lot from you in this present build, and I'm doing. Thank you again, and i look forward to your response. Keep up the good work.
Hello, please tell me, I bought the block head, apparently it was overheated, as you said, the shaft on the last neck bites a little, what is your opinion, will it work? Thanks
hello i have a 2002 gtx 4tec limited ran great. then one day i put the key to the post and i got one long beep. checked the fuse box and found 5amp fuse bad. replaced it but as soon as i put the key to the post it pops and i get one long beep. any info you have about this problem would be great. thanks
There’s a reason why the seadoo engineers design a bolt that is skinny in the middle so the oil can reach the rockers the ARP bolts that I seen are fat I just don’t like them, if ARP comes out with a bolt that looks like the factory one then I use it.
I just bought my first jetski (seadoo gti 130) and I love watching your videos.

Gracias por tus videos me encantan mucho 🙏💪💪💪
It looks almost identical to building a SeaDoo 1503 engine
Where do you order all the parts for seadoo’s
Vous pouvez mettre les sous titres en français s'il vous plaît ? Merci
17:32 people will still try to argue that timing is “retard”. Thanks for pointing that out to people!
But, while the GTX Limited stand with its luxury features and accessories , the RXT - X is designed for performance .
The camshaft does have bearings; they are called plain bearings.

Do the wisco pistions effect the the balance
Also do you have a website where we can contact you for work?
Links are in the description.
Contact me at Calasperformance@gmail.com
Also links are in the description.
OK. All nice looking BUT what about a NikaSil surface ? It is all gone ,,, so this engine will work but for how long ???
What is the part number for those Wiseco pistons? Are they 100mm that are for the 1503 engines and 8.4:1?
Niceeeeee!!!

nice video! do i need new springs and retainers for the cam?
Oh YES. DEFINITELY
For calascam yes I highly recommend it
what's your opinion Ernesto? Bolts that come in carrillo rods or install arp bolts in the rods
The Carrillo rods bolts of really good I will not change them
how much oil do you put into the engine? after doing the engine swap?
Hello, please tell me, I bought the block head, apparently it was overheated, as you said, the shaft on the last neck bites a little, what is your opinion, will it work? Thanks
It’s funny you ask that my first Seadoo 07 Rxp was like that and it ran 93 mph back on 2013 you’ll be fine
Do you know what is factory torque on head bolts using oem bolts?
hello i have a 2002 gtx 4tec limited ran great. then one day i put the key to the post and i got one long beep. checked the fuse box and found 5amp fuse bad. replaced it but as soon as i put the key to the post it pops and i get one long beep. any info you have about this problem would be great. thanks
Go on GreenHaulk website www.greenhulk.net/ and I’m sure they have an answer for you in the forums
Did you check piston ring gap? You didn't touch on it at all. If the pistons are new those rings need to be gapped for turbo, non turbo etc...
Avez vous un mail ? Je voudrait vous contacté. Merci
Any spare engines Ernesto?
Never there’s always a new project that is an engine🤦♂️🤣😂
@@calasworld hahah Yeaa I bet. I enjoy every single project you be putting out there. 🫶🏻
Valve cover bolts = 140 ft pounds lol not this guy
Noo. Lmfaoooo
🤦♂️
Do u prefer factor rocker arm bolts over ARP? I see you didnt use arp for those
There’s a reason why the seadoo engineers design a bolt that is skinny in the middle so the oil can reach the rockers the ARP bolts that I seen are fat I just don’t like them, if ARP comes out with a bolt that looks like the factory one then I use it.
Makes sense. I rather have more oil on the head for race applications. Factory bolts are strong enough.
