Some of the comments calling it fake but let me tell you this, dieing back in the good 'ol days meant losing seriously good gear and exp good for a week of hunting work. Trust me, one simply does not die for the fun of it. So no, this is absolutely not staged. I mean, I even remember giving somebody a vial of poison in Rookgaard convincing him it was healing pot and the poor bastard actually drank it. Just saying, that is how people really were.
First time i was in rook, at lvl 2, some random player asked me to walk on firefield so i would get level up. I did, multiple times and died. I had nothing that he could get, but he did it anyway. Thats how people really were (2).
@@wamenslot Omg I remember how many people I killed in rookgaard by just telling them to walk in fire field or electric field repeatedly to level up. Heck, I’ll even tell them to drink poison in a cup so color is not visible. Best of all, Its just below the rookgaard town and I have key so I can lock the door.
@@borntopk7 Early years of tibia were very dangerous and fierce for noobs and non-english players. I remember i had to look players talking to npc to understand what i had to say. But that let me go and search for the right stuff, die and learn. Today everything is easy to new players and not much of a point, since new players barely aim tibia as a gaming choice, unless they wanna learn how to farm coins and sell in rl.
The poison vial is a classic.

Why this is probably not fake. 1. People from non-pvp were worlds were pretty casual at walking with lots of gold and gear and overall walked care-free in the lands of tibia 2. Druids at that level could make a lot of money selling bps of UHS. 3. Considering how he panicked using utamo vita, he might forgot he couldve used the UHs or maybe even not the real owned but a "younger" brother tasked with afk runing ou selling items at these days, which was common. 4. He probably did not put his items on the backpack, he was selling them and was walking between cities, if you look at the trade channel you can see the player that died advertising the sale
And about the first one, back in those days the economy was extremely different from non-pvp server to pvp servers, almost everything were way cheaper in a non pvp server specially equipment, i remember buying crown legs in Secura by an amount that was less than a k-legs in Libera, and because of that there were several lv 30 to 50 with insane equipments in non-pvp servers.
If you played in this era, it's pretty easy to tell the video is real and not an OT.

I wrote to someone standing at the DP to show some expensive item and then to clone it by pressing CTRL + typing "CLONE". After pressing ctrl + l, the player logged out and I approached the DP box. I managed to gain Magic plate armor this way once

I got played once in depot when i was selling a bright sword shortly before a server reset. I put the sword on top of the depot box and 2 guys kept throwing thrash on it, making me lose it when servers restarted. I don't know if i could have done anything since it was before the "browse field" addition

Non pvp world resumed: a bunch of ppl without UHs making stupid things. When I used to play, like 15 years ago, it was normal for a Knight lvl 30 to walk with 5bp+ of Uhs on pvp worlds.. at least 3 when using mages or pallys, cause u never know what's coming.
