    I work in the carehome as a server and got involve in the kitchen bit. Like pot washing then chef assistant that helps preps and then eventually becoming a chef. now I moved to that 6 years job to get better offer from my current now. I regret that I stayed longer in there . Because I could have improve my skills in other place. but now with new job Im learning a lot.

    Great video! I do have a question, I am studying Commercial Cookery right now in Queensland, I have to work in a commercial kitchen as part of my course, I have no experience working in a commercial kitchen, they want chefs and cooks with experience, so what kitchen job should I apply for?

  • @princessmae104

    Do I have to cook or present my own dishes like appetisers, main course and dessert for the trial of line cook??
    Or I just have to perform the given tasks by the chefs throughout the trial?

    • @acdyrit
      @acdyrit  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just perform what they ask from you. Even as simple as peeling potatoes or following a recipe.

      Hello! You need a kitchen experience if you plan on working as a cook or chef. But if you just plan on working as a front staff or kitchen hand. It does not matter 😊

    How did you relate being a tourism student to commercial cookery?

    • @acdyrit
      @acdyrit  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Related in a sense that I worked in hospitality my whole career but also I have a passion for cooking. I just expressed how much I really wanted to get the australian qualification of a chef.

    hi po mam..pwede po ba pumunta jan ng naka 400 visa tapos pagdating po jan saka kukuha ng skills assesment or cert 3 for cookery pra mag bridging sa 482 visa?

    • @acdyrit
      @acdyrit  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      OMG. I can’t give you a straight answer kasi pa ibaiba na ngayon ang rules for student visas. Mas mahigpit na sila ngayon and students can’t just change courses or visas without reason. Better to talk to an agent for the technical stuff.

      Hello! In terms of work, we really decided to adjust coz we dont want to put our son in child care all the time (plus it’s so expensive for us international students). I work 7 am to 4pm and my husband work night shifts Sa warehouse from 10pm to 6am. My son is currently in kinder which is only twice a week. We spread out our day offs para either of us is at home with our son. Its truly exhausting but manageable 🫠
