Another one OR two things: Harry and Ginny have 2 VERY MATURE heart-to-heart conversations in Harry's 5th year: One in Grimmauld Place during Christmas where Ginny reminds Harry of her past experience being possessed by Voldemort (or Tom Riddle from the Diary), and another conversation in the Hogwarts library (probably MY FAVORITE moment between Harry and Ginny) when Harry is desperate to talk to Sirius, Ginny encourages Harry to do so based on her time growing up with Fred and George, and that HILARIOUS ENDING where Madame Pince yells at both of them not to eat Mrs. Weasley's chocolate Easter eggs in the library before enchanting Harry and Ginny's possessions (books, bags, and/or whatever else) to chase them both out of the library! HBO Max, PLEASE portray BOTH of these scenes in the new Harry Potter reboot!
There's also the one where Arthur got bit by the snake. Ron's so lost about his father that Harry starts drowning in his own problems when Ginny slaps him across the face and pretty much tells him to pull his head out of his own ass. Because this isn't about him right now. It's about Arthur.

Here’s one, at the end of the Prisoner of Azkaban, when Harry was heading back to the Dursleys, Sirius wrote to Harry saying he bought him the Firebolt but also gave him a signed Hogsmeade permission slip which is how Harry got to go to Hogsmeade for the rest of the series.
@@toodlescae I loved that the first thing Ron did upon realizing he could keep the owl is hold it up for Crookshanks to sniff. Just to make sure it was definitely an owl.
A few more mentions: 1. 2 ministry workers resigned in protest to Fudge’s ridiculous campaign against Dumbledore. 2. Levicorpus is actually a non-verbal spell that Snape has created, and that’s what made him snap at Harry, and admit to his identity as the half blood prince. 3. After the basilisk got blinded, he tracked Harry by smelling him, not by hearing him. 4. Ron made some very dumb excuses in denial of who “Scabbers” actually is.
I think they made Levicorpus a spell that levitates and knocks characters off their feet. Also, I knew the basilisk tracking Harry with smell made more sense than with sound. Snakes can smell with their tongue and it would have been able to sense Harry immediately when it had him cornered but apparently throwing a rock was enough to trick it.

There was an entire sequence that was left out in the Deathly Hallows Part 2: After Voldemort had struck Harry with the killing curse, Hagrid had carried Harry all the way to the Hogwarts in his arms from the Forbidden Forest; in which is when Voldemort gave his speech and Neville stepped forward holding the *Sorting Hat* (not the sword); when Nagini lunged forward Neville pulled out Godric Gryffyndor's sword from the Sorting Hat and killed Nagini then (not later on like in the movie); and at that very instance Harry rolled out of Hagrid's arms while simultaneously placed the Invisibility Cloak over himself making it look like he disappeared or Aparated, and Harry disappearing is what officially started the battle (not the utter defiance and Voldemort choosing to act).
I’m actually incredibly proud to say I read the books before even watching the movies. The books are actually the series that got me into harry potter (movies)
The same here. I read the paperback of Sorcerer's Stone shortly before the movie debuted. After that it was a combination of hardcovers and audiobooks.
I saw the first movie when it premiered and was enamored, and that led me to read all the books that were published at that time (I think it was only the first four) before the second film came out
I was so sad when Luna and Harry didn't go to the Ravenclaw common room in the last film. I wanted so bad to see my common room in the films. That's another thing to add to a possible 3rd video, Harry not only visited Gryffindor's (obviously) and Slytherin's common room, but Ravenclaw's as well. Love your videos, btw :)
Other things to add in the next video: -Harry Beat Voldemort in front of everyone - Augusta Longbottom chose Neville’s wand - Dumbledore gave the cloak to Harry a Second time after his detention -Harry DOES take Moody’s eye and buries it in the forest of Dean - Harry utilizes Dobby & Kreacher to spy on Draco -Victor Krum loses the Quidditch World Cup in TGOF - We first see Bellatrix in the pensive in TGOF -Death Eaters cannot fly on their own (only 2 people can: Voldemort & Snape) -Voldemort dies a normal death -Molly / Ginny / Hermione hated Fluer -Victor Krum attended Bill & Fluer’s wedding -Fred & George were robbed by Ludo Bagman after he cheated them in a bet -Barty Crouch Jr. used Dobby to help Harry in the second task
In an earlier video you mentioned the deep connection you had with your late grandmother 😢 over the HP books. It struck a chord with me because I discovered the HP books as an adult because I of a grandma. My mom would babysit my great nephew (her great grandson) and she started reading the HP books aloud to him. She became so intrigued with the series that she avidly devoured all 7 books. She kept telling me that I would love the series , and she was right. When Mama passed in 2019, I became the keeper of her complete set of Harry books. They are especially precious to me because she wrote things in the margins, underlined passages and wrote out family trees of the characters. And now I enjoy HP with my grandkids.

You would be suprised how much rebellion goes on in a strict, tyrannical organization. Lots of quite rule breaking. Peeves would have had an initial weakening, but grown slowly stronger.

I don’t think that Snape was the full reason why Harry was an orphan, it was Voldemort that chose Harry and his parents. Over Neville and his parents, also Peter was the one purposely gave. The Potter’s location up to Voldemort and Sirius making Peter, the Secret keeper instead which what cause the event to happen.
Snape was the caystalist bye TELLING VOLDERMORT in the first place. Something or someone has to be the catlyse. Snape is the catylist therefore the dimons fell over because he start it. Neither Harry or Neville would've been in danger if Snape hadn't been eveasedropping. So YES he was the one who started the chain of events by listening to the conversation and telling Tom it. So yes hold him accountablity for being the cantaslit. None of it would've happened if Snape hadn't been the one to tell him in the first place! Or if he hadn't been stupid enough to join the Death Eaters for that matter.
Somehow this video "forgot" to mention that Sirius Black tried to have Severus Snape murdered by Werewolf Lupin.... James Potter's "saving" Severus, was a vicious brutal bully saving his own ass....
My point exactly. As much as Severus mean and mercifully bully, towards kids are not from Slytherin and Harry. But James isn’t a totally good in my eyes. He didn’t save Severus, because it’s the right thing to do. He only saved him, so Lupin wouldn’t feel guilty. Of killing someone that, he fear that he would do. And Sirius trying to get Severus kill is more than, just a joke as Sirius was bad then James.
@@Aaron-MackHartford I get both your points. BUt have you failled to forgot how most of the world currently thinks stuff like that is now normal? Oh how entitled and stupid kids can be? Yes, it was more out of self-intrest but remember James didn't HAVE to go after Snape. He could've just let Lupin kill him. ANd again Snape was WILLING TO LET JAMES DIE because all he cared about was LILY. So yes both tried to save the other ass one way or another even if they hated each other. IT's also very realisitc of how real bullying is in the real world. I mean people have cyberbullied kids into killing themselves. SO yeah, it's horrible and worng, but its still something you find in everyday life and most of the world truly doesn't care.
James wasn't saving himself--- he wouldn't have gotten in trouble anyway, Lupin could've killed Snape. The people who would have gotten in trouble were Sirius and Lupin. Dumbledore already knew about Lupin being a werewolf. He saved three people that day. Plus I think Sirius, James, and Snape were all bullies except James had his redemption and Snape sorta did too... I don't know about Sirius. Honestly, I find Snape the worst sort of "bully" in between them because of the fact he used to bully his muggle-born classmates and his students. Like the times he tried killing Neville's toad or the continuous bullying Harry had to deal with or the time he insulted Hermione's teeth or when he made Harry and Ron do Draco's work because his hand was "broken" or the time he read the whole Rita Skeeter article about Harry's "love story" with Hermione out in front of the entire class or when he said that he doesn't care about James and Harry but only Lily and begged the Dark Lord to take James and Harry instead of Lily and leave her alone or the time he was the one to tell the prophecy to Voldemort resulting in James and Lily's death.
1) McGonagal's fight with Umbridge about Harry being an Auror. 2) Harry's memory to trigger his Patronus during his DADA OWL exam. 3) Dumbledore's backstory 4) Hagrid fighting 5 Aurors and Umbridge during Harry's Astronomy OWL Exam

The Hepzibah Smith memory should have definitely been in the movie since it’s how Harry learns Hufflepuff’s Cup is one of the horcruxes he needs to find along with one of the horcruxes possibly being an item from Ravenclaw.

Harry and Ginny have 2 VERY MATURE heart-to-heart conversations in Harry's 5th year: One in Grimmauld Place during Christmas where Ginny reminds Harry of her past experience being possessed by Voldemort (or Tom Riddle from the Diary), and another conversation in the Hogwarts library (probably MY FAVORITE moment between Harry and Ginny) when Harry is desperate to talk to Sirius, Ginny encourages Harry to do so based on her time growing up with Fred and George, and that HILARIOUS ENDING where Madame Pince yells at both of them not to eat Mrs.
So true ... Harry and Ginny deserves better ❤🎉
@@mistv901 Ginny was a powerhouse in her own right, one time she even cursed Malfoy with the BatBogey hex. And she's scared Fred and George into respecting her as a result. She didn't take anyone's bs.
mature heart-to heart conversation? she literally says "I was possessed too" and Harry goes "oh right" and that's it. they don't have a conversation, everybody is in the room with them and takes turns saying a line to Harry
@@denisucuuu there was more to it than that. He said he'd forgotten she'd been possessed by Voldy. She asked him what it was like for him, and he described his experiences. Yeah everyone's in the room with them, but that doesn't make it any less important for Harry. It cleared up some things that had been plaguing his mind since the attack on Mr Weasley. Ginny helped him feel so much better about the situation and himself at the end of it.
Year 3 Trelawney states "whenever 13 people are together around a table the 1st one that stands up will die", year 5 Christmas number 13 Grimmauld pl there are 13 people and Sirius stands up 1st (and we know what comes in that book)
oh yes
The same occurred during that same scene, since Ron had Scabbers/Pettigrew with him, and Dumbledore stood up to welcome Trelawney.
And gave Ron the tiny owl that delivered it who later became known as Pigwidgeon.
@@toodlescae I loved that the first thing Ron did upon realizing he could keep the owl is hold it up for Crookshanks to sniff. Just to make sure it was definitely an owl.
A few more mentions:
1. 2 ministry workers resigned in protest to Fudge’s ridiculous campaign against Dumbledore.
Levicorpus was made long before Snape was in school. It was just popular in the 70s.
Sectum sempra is what he meant I guess
@@hrithiksrinivas in the film, yes, but in the book, it was Levicorpus
@@thatweirdo150 Snape himself responded with outrage when Harry was about to cast Levicorpus on him, specifically saying that he invented those spells
I love how the quality of Morgan’s videos has changed over time, he’s a great editor, and I’ve been watching him for a while, so I know most of these, even if I haven’t read the books😅
OMG MORGAN HEART MY COMMENT
Yea, I still remember when Morgan’s videos would start with the Harry Potter theme tune, the title of the video with the backdrop of grey, stormy clouds. I love his videos!
@@Eryn-bf6qb especially when he did “the life of”
I will never forgive the films directors for giving hermione all of rons Ws 😂😭
Well, it's not exactly the directors' fault. The screenwriter was biased as he loved Hermione instead of Ron
you should rank all of the books final sequences, (the chamber of secrets, duel in the graveyard, turning back time, etc.)
Coming soon!
Definitely looking forward to it
This is an awesome idea for a video! Ill be looking forward too seeing it!
@@MovieFlame surely Prisoner of Azkaban would be last as you hate time travel😂?
@@bhuchin I don’t hate time travel. I thought it was incredible in POA and it’s fantastic in further lore. It’s honestly one of my favorite examples of time travel in fiction. What I hate is how the cursed child used it and shit all over the true lore the original canon had
#20: On top of that, he initially asked Dumbledore to save Lily only. He didn't even cared about the husband or son.
#21: yeah, till that point I hated her very much, but, when she injured Hedwig, she crossed a line in my eyes and it was then when I started loathing her.
The “F*ck you, Malfoy.” on the thumbnail is wild. 💀
That shooked me so much when i first saw it🤣🤣🤣
it’s deserved lol
It should be in the book
My favorite scene for some idiotic reason
Could you also make a Ron best moments video? I can't get enough of his beef with Zacharias Smith and more people need to know about it lol
He was gonna Hex smith right in the middle of the great hall for insulting his friend. Ron a straight G
I saw the first movie when it premiered and was enamored, and that led me to read all the books that were published at that time (I think it was only the first four) before the second film came out
Very similar to what happened at my side
And I'm sad to say I did the opposite
@@ManavJith Still, you were probably unaffected by the various changes and omissions of the movies when you saw them.
Dumbledore asked calmly
Other things to add in the next video:
-Harry Beat Voldemort in front of everyone
- Augusta Longbottom chose Neville’s wand
- Dumbledore gave the cloak to Harry a Second time after his detention
-Harry DOES take Moody’s eye and buries it in the forest of Dean
- Harry utilizes Dobby & Kreacher to spy on Draco
-Victor Krum loses the Quidditch World Cup in TGOF
- We first see Bellatrix in the pensive in TGOF
-Death Eaters cannot fly on their own (only 2 people can: Voldemort & Snape)
-Voldemort dies a normal death
-Molly / Ginny / Hermione hated Fluer
-Victor Krum attended Bill & Fluer’s wedding
-Fred & George were robbed by Ludo Bagman after he cheated them in a bet
-Barty Crouch Jr. used Dobby to help Harry in the second task
Draco tried using Crucio on Harry during their fight in the bathroom in Half-Blood Prince.
Been a patreon for a few years now. With no plans to change that. Keep up the good work!
Thks so much for part 2 👍👍👍 I find these videos truly helpful and really expands my hp knowledge 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

You forgot a very important one. The identity of the man, the myth, the legend: Who truly is... Roonil Wazlib?! One of the best set up jokes with an incredibly funny pay off. Please add it in the next one if you can!
The reason everyone thought Sirius was the first one to escape Askaban was because everyone thought Barty Crouch JR was dead when it was really his mother

True 👍
Yeah, I'm with you. He definitely needs to get on it 😩
the fact that there's part 1 & 2 for this... already 60+ things in the books that are missing from the movies... i hope the new tv series does the book series justice for once 😭

Looking forward to seeing your lists.
Literally writing the script right now
Omg 🙀 a teaser
Morgan looks like harry potter more than harry potter. Happy accident?😂
😂😂😂
So close, he look like harry but with sleeky hair potion
He kind of looks like James. Especially from that one fan film Broad Strokes made. It's called Severus Snape and the Maurders. If you haven't watched it, I very much recommend it.
i love this series. I am a potterhead and really enjoy the films. I dont really like reading books, but your videos help me understand the character growth and design of the characters way more, as well as fixing the parts of the films i didnt really enjoy. I dont think i can actually sit down an read the books, but i feel like i got a great understanding of them because of your channel. Thank you for that, and please keep it going. Your content is so entertaining and ejucating for the film fans that dont have the time/power/energy to read through the books, despite their love for this world
You could listen to the audio cd's/tapes of the books. I think Steven Fry is the narrator.
aww i wish they had kept in crookshanks working with sirius! that would've been sooo cute. thanks for these videos movieflame! i havent read the books so these facts are very cool to learn!
That will be cool but it will be really hard to do animal communication scenes☺️☺️
This is awesome. You should really do more sequels to more of your videos. These are awesome thank you so much for giving us this gift. I am sick right now and This is really the only thing I have to watch right now and it’s giving me power.
Peeves must have lost a fair bit of his powers when Fred and George left given that he’s a psychogenic manifestation of all the rule breaking, chaos and shenanigans that occur within the walls of the school and Fred and George were responsible for a lot of it.
He went completely *.
You would be suprised how much rebellion goes on in a strict, tyrannical organization. Lots of quite rule breaking. Peeves would have had an initial weakening, but grown slowly stronger.

Dumbledore’s funeral is one of my favorite chapters in the books 😢 it’s so beautifully written when Harry realizes he has to leave
Jokes on you i regularly watch MovieFlame so i already know these facts😂😂😂
Lets go 😂
These facts are somewhat general for book readers but i still learnt at least half of it from past movieflame videos.
I know most of these because i read the books and also i have two copies of the 4th and 7th book
I am a movie watcher and I was so much confused about many things in the series, but your videos explained them greatly
i love these videos, just remind me how much of a nerd i am when it comes to harry potter
The majority of stuff I know from Harry Potter, other than from the movies, I've learned from watching your videos! I'm always amazed at how much I still don't know so thank you for making these!
i still giggle at the part were she whispers to peeve's "it unscrews the other way"
I hope that if this HBO series is made, they include Peeves and stay as faithful to the books as possible. As amazing as the films are, they were limited regarding content from the books they can use
Morgan you awesome man, love this series!
Bravo parts I and II of Things You Wouldn't Know.....After seeing this I realized that while watching the films , I automatically fill in the parts that weren't shown.
I never imagined that there were so many of them.
1:27 George and Harry was beating Draco up, while Fred is being held up
i love mcgonagall helping peeves in the 5th book. when she found peeves unscrewing the chandelier, instead of stopping him, she told him to unscrew it the other way. and she definitely lended peeves her walking stick to chase umbridge with it.
when umbridge told harry that he will never be an auror, mcgonagall screamed at her and told harry she's willing to assist him to be an auror if it's the last thing she'll ever do.
seeing how much they had to cut out for the films makes me really excited for the tv show
Plsssss do a part 3
Will he ever run out of facts
Yo I love your videos I’m subbed 😊😊😊
I always took at as James didn't know about the trick.
Well here part 2... can you please make a part 3??
I just might 👀
Ahhhhhhhh pls do🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Man I was a huge fan of the movies only into my adult life. Discovering your page and going down the rabbit hole of all the books vs movies difference and characters timelines made me want to get the books. Got the complete set for my 36th birthday and currently reading through Goblet of Fire, and I'm loving it all.
As someone who read the books, it's pretty frustrating that the movie cut 5 of the seven memories from the half blood prince, they would have been so cool to see!
A lot of goblet of fire was butchered but imo half blood Prince was given the worst disservice
@@_MajuniorWhen watching the goblet of fire I always feel it looks “ugly” to watch. I think it’s a mix of the overall visuals and the fact all of them didn’t get a haircut. I think a part that was done great was the score, especially when Voldemort and Harry’s wands connect. The visuals and the score is so good
The Hepzibah Smith memory should have definitely been in the movie since it’s how Harry learns Hufflepuff’s Cup is one of the horcruxes he needs to find along with one of the horcruxes possibly being an item from Ravenclaw.

Imagine if you did this same video for Percy Jackson, video may as well just be the entire book
That will be so cool🤯🤯🤯

1. Percy wrote a letter to Ron during OotP, advising him to drop Harry as a friend.
2. During the Battle of Hogwarts, the house elves, led by Kreacher, used kitchen knives to stab Death Eaters' ankles.
3. (can't remember if you did put this, but Imma include it just in case you didn't) Harry's wand was the one used to cast the Dark Mark in GoF.
I know a lot of random things about this book series and its all because of watching your videos 🤍

Snape's childhood was hell because of his muggle father and his school life was even worse because of Marauders, James didn't save Only Snape that day he saves his friends Serious and Lupin as well
James definitely only save Snape. That Lupin wouldn’t be scarred or knowing of killing someone, something that Lupin afraid of or fear that he would do.
Hello MovieFlame. I wanted to say that I really liked your previous video, especially as I'm reading the books for the first time and I'm nearly halfway through the sixth book. These videos and me reading the book could clear many plotholes the movies had
Edit: The books also show how much more competent, smart and skilled Ron was, as he had a little of the things that defined his siblings, making him my favorite character out of the trio. But the movies made him look like an incompetent idiot who paled in comparison to the all-knowing Hermione, despite the logical fact that Ron had more experience among wizards than Hermione, who was from the Muggle world

Thank u pls make part 3
Well conserning the prophecy in snape mind hé had the mentality of "no one Care about me why should i Care about anyone" and the fact of being dissmissed and constantly looked down upon is part of the reason why he became a death eater
Except that he was cared about. He had friends and his teachers cared. His dad was a piece of work, but as far as we know his mom loved him.
WE dont knowing his teachers cared and for the wanna be death eaters who Saïd they were Friends as for his mom WE don't know
@@aliamezgar1489 By that same logic, we don’t know that they didn’t care. Circular argument.
I dont think you understand
@@aliamezgar1489 What do you mean, then? To me it sounds as though you’re trying to explain his reasons for why he did what he did. I understand his reasoning…but it’s just not good enough for me 🤷♀️ I have stage lV cancer on top of a number of other difficulties and I haven’t chosen to go out inflicting pain on others. Our choices make us who we are. That’s why Snape is a grey character; he makes a lot of really bad choices and is honestly not a good person…but he’s not fully bad either because he makes good choices too that have a massive ripple effect. But for me, his good choices do not outweigh his bad choices. In the end, he only turned to the good side for revenge (and some repentance in the case of Lily and his guilt in her death.) I think he’s a great literary character…but I also absolutely hate him and think he has very few good qualities.
If there's a part three I would add how Harry and Ginny were about 30 seconds from having an R rated scene at the Burrow on his 17th birthday. Also how Ron 🐔 blocked Harry and admonished him after and Harry was like, "Yep I should not have done that."
