  • Siegel's 1941 inside the El Cortez Casino
Address: El Cortez, 600 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
    Hours: 7:00am-10:00pm Sunday-Thursday(Hours may vary)
24 hours on Friday and Saturday. On Opentable and Yelp it says its open 24 hours everyday, but I don't think that's the case. I went here at midnight on a Monday and they were closed.
Siegel's 1941 is a classic diner offering breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites. Its inside the vintage El Cortez casino in the East Fremont District of Las Vegas. Its named after Bugsy Siegel, a notorious mobster in the 1940's back when Las Vegas was ruled by the mob.
They have a Prime Rib Special here for $16.95 thats very popular and comes with a baked potato and vegetables. They also have a stone crab special on Friday and Saturdays from 5:00pm-10:00pm for $49.00. On Wednesdays if you are over 50 years old then you can get 50% off on certain items.
On Thanksgiving they will be having a special menu for $23.95 with players card and $28.95 without players that includes an Appetizer, Entree, and Dessert. For the appetizer you can choose between a Green Salad or Squash Soup. For the entree you can get turkey or ham with mashed or sweet potatoes, and green beans. and for Dessert Pumpkin, Pecan, or Apple Pie.
For our lunch today we got the Fish and Chips for $19.00, the Southern Fried Chicken for $17.00, and the Prime Rib Sandwich for $18.00, and a Rootbeer float to drink for $7.00. The total came out to be a little over $60 for everything.
Overall the food was not bad. I liked some things more than others. The Fish and Chips my favorite thing that I ate here. The other dishes were just okay. The service was pretty quick and didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. The Fried Chicken tasted like it came straight from a Golden Corral Buffet and the Prime Rib Sandwich would have been better with cheese on it.
I ate the Fish and Chips at the Rampart Casino Earl's Grey Cafe and here's a link to that video so you can compare: • Earl Grey Cafe in the ...
