You are missing one of the main motives that drives most people. We are used to call it propaganda and consider its effect as based on the information it gives, but consider the habit it creates if heard by somebody for a long time, the communications with other people who are exposed on the same propaganda and the shared (with them) assumed place for the object of the propaganda (the habit to consider something, for example, a "russian" thing, because you expect your peers to put it by default in the same category - most people call this stereotyping, I prefer not to, because there are degrees and other details that also matter. Humans are prone to stereotype everything - after all this comes from the same process that creates languages and cultures in general, the problem is when certain groups use this to "hack" the human minds for their own purposes. Saying this, I have to recognize the fact that this is not a simple topic - our civilization is based on stereotypes, without them it will fall apart, but it can be broken by stereotypes if they are manipulated in certain ways. I still hold some hope for the human race - that it is able to overcome its innate weaknesses in time, but this hope is often shaken (what is happening with Russia now is merely just one example of the reasons) ...

I am sad to admit, that I was one of those stupid people, that believed everything I heard and saw on US TV. But then I moved to Tbilisi Georgia. Once You get away from the BS, You see things as they really are! 2 things... I used to hate TRUMP, now I thank God that he was elected again, because we truly need to stop the Insanity in the world today! And... I used to fear Russia, now I love Russia, IT'S NORMAL! and I love normal!! and I haven't even been there yet! But I will be going in 2025!! 👍
