An example is 'The Tapioka dance 'of the Trobriand Islands is a contemporary dance and it does not really reflect the true traditional dances and the culture of the Trobriand people. Visit the Islands during Yam Festival and you will witness true culture on display.
What? the tapioca dance from Trobs reflects their history and how their society is centred around the harvesting of yams. That was a really bad example

Very true...unfortunately it seems only kids in urban centres are taking time to learn traditional dances..even if its altered...
