This video was taken back in 2012, a reconciliation ceremony held at Siar Village Madang, with the then Madang MP, Nixon Duban. An event after the 2012 National General Elections. The video is taken on a mobile phone, right at the village, haus wind, Sezuaik Damon.

I have one of these that's 12" from when my dad was a diver in New Zealand. But... if I hold it the way he is. It's left, but if I hold it the way I was told, it right. Trying to find out what it's worth now along with the other shells and coral he had when he died. It's been interesting trying to figure out what everything is. 🤔 ❤️
Have you found a buyer for your shell?

Cultural shows and contemporary dances are the death of true traditional cultures of Papua New Guinea. To really appreciate the true PNG cultures one must visit the local districts and areas where a dance originates from. An example is 'The Tapioka dance 'of the Trobriand Islands is a contemporary dance and it does not really reflect the true traditional dances and the culture of the Trobriand people. Visit the Islands during Yam Festival and you will witness true culture on display.
Very true...unfortunately it seems only kids in urban centres are taking time to learn traditional dances..even if its altered...
What? the tapioca dance from Trobs reflects their history and how their society is centred around the harvesting of yams. That was a really bad example
Man! Love your brilliant instrumental rendition of a Christmas classic.💕👍🇵🇬. Prosperous New year 2020 to you!
