First time watching your video! I am totally impressed with the quality of your ornaments, very professional! I am 78 and have been doing all kinds of crafts, mixed media, paper crafts, mainly cards, stitching! We have would have been married 56 years and out first Christmas was hand made ornaments, and have continued to make. Last year was the first year I didn’t have my traditional tree, I went with a smaller slimline that I can handle by myself, it’s all blue, silver, white! In 1972 I organized a boutique to sell handmade items, that year me made $2000. Dollars, most of the ornaments sold for 25 cents, the next year was $5000 in one day. I continue doing this at different locations as we moved. In 1984 I opened my business, all items on consignment. When I had to close after nine years I was buying from 206 cottage industries! It’s still in my blood! Great ideas and very professional!❄️🎄❄️
Mi children, and now grandchildren, get a new ornament every year. Thys began on miyoldest daughters first christmas 🎄,29 years ago. Now 10+ new ornaments are added to the tree every year, to go along with 29 years worth of old ornaments.
I’ve been doing that the past few something else I’m forgetting, but the ornaments are the best addition. Especially if it’s one we got on a family vacation. TYFS!!!❤
I mix old favorites with homemade and new purchased ornaments for my tree. Emily I have followed you for quite a while and must tell you are one of my very favorite crafters. Thank you for all the inspiration.😊🙏🌲
I love the vintage look for ornaments for my tree, it reminds me of my tree when I was a child. I can't wait to try some of these. I add new ornaments to my tree each year, but keep ones that have meaning to me.
I go to various Thrift stores and purchase the old Xmas ornaments. Once home, I cover them with left-over Christmas wrapping paper, with the help of my grandkids. They get to take the ornaments they decorated home, and I get to spend precious time with them!!!
My tree is different every year. This is year will be all cardinals. I always put one in thectree every year but wanted this tree to be only cardinals. For my husband and all my other family members that are gone.
I love all these ornaments. Great job. I love the vintage santas. I have made new ornaments each year for the past 49 years. Give them gifts. Started just making them for my children, then added them to everyones gifts.
I added an ornament for each of my children starting with their 1st Christmas. When they had a home of their own I gave them their ornaments. When I was blessed with grandchildren I added an ornament each year with their picture on it until they graduated from high school when I no longer got school pictures each year.
All your ornaments are so unique, love them all! As far as my tree I use all my special ornaments, but each year I always add new ones! I have some ornaments my kids and grandkids made me, so they are a must!! Thank you for all your talent, I’ve learned so much!!
I love the round buffalo check ornament and I’m putting the initial of the family in the center of the tree or snowflake of the family that I am giving it to.
Using “leftover “ scraps of paper, wood, ribbon, anything else is just brilliant!!! Your ideas are so clever and creative. It’s fun watching you make ornaments because I’m always surprised by what idea you come up with next. The first Christmas I was married we didn’t have room for a tree.. I found a small two feet tall plastic tree 🌲 and made stuffed ornaments for it: candy canes, stuffed baubles and wrapped red ribbon 🎀 around them. Then I made a pretty little bows to tie onto ends of branches. It all looked so cute. I already had a handmade gold ⭐️ someone had made for me a year before to put on top. Voila, our little tree 🌲 fit perfectly on the breakfast table!! I love 💕 home crafted decorations!!!❤ We used those ornaments and added to them all while raising the kids. 👧 The all time favorite 😍 ornaments were homemade shaped sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies wrapped in plastic wrap and hung on the tree 🌲. Of course we had to keep making these because they seemed to disappear 🫥 with great regularity. (Now how did that happen?)lol😊
Ever since we were first married and I made all of my ornaments I have continued adding newly made ones each year I love all of your ideas they are all so cute
Just found you here on TH-cam, and you have some great ideas! Thanks for sharing. I love ornaments. I try to add one handmade ornament to my tree each year, plus put one aside for my granddaughter's tree (when she grows up).
I keep a lot of the ornaments but I always add something new every year. It has gotten to where I also have had to start removing some of the old to add the new. Last year I went all out and flocked my tree. It turned out beautiful. There is one thing that I do the same every year. If I get to put it up very soon, I will send you a picture. Love your ideas. ❤
Awesome. I just now ran into your ornaments. I’m not so into the rustic look but seeing all your ideas gave me other ways to use your brilliant ideas! Thank You!
I have many sentimental ornaments I use each year on the tree. But, if I see something new that invokes a sentimental thought, I will buy that and add it either to my tree or hang it somewhere around the house. I definitely love the little tag Christmas ornaments you made❣️ I have several calendars I’ve kept through the years that I refused to dispose of because they had both the small sample size on the back that could be repurposed and even some of the inside full size images could be repurposed. Now, I thank you for sharing your ideas, because they’ve inspired me with lovely ideas.😊
Really enjoyed watching this video - it gave me a lot of ideas for my 4 trees: 12’ gold, white and glass; 4’ rustic and for children and 2 4’ tartan trees (lots of plaid and English ornaments). Definitely going to do those “vintage” ornaments, but I’ll hang them with organza ribbon.
I love those OLD TIME POSTCARDS. I change my whole tree every yr & pick from ornaments collected. And always use faux 🌹RED ROSES in my tree no matter what🌹🌹🌹🌲🌲🌲
Your ornament are awesome. I make some too every year. My family gets a new ornament every year. They get one for me also. I use the same ornaments every year. Sometimes since I have so many I will use one color decorations. I just love the festive time …my tree I could keep up all year since I love to see it. The lights the ornaments can be so lovely. I would love to see your tree decorated with all you created here. They are so beautiful. Simple sometimes is the best. The beads were great. 💖🤗🎄
The stars would look really pretty with a pretty gem in the center. Doing “mod podge” with Elmer glue (not to saying anyone is wrong by using that”, but when my kids were in Elementary school and they held up pretty good maybe 5 years before the glue started yellowing and breaking down.
Great ideas. I love the patina trees. As for changing out ornaments from year to year; my ornaments are very special to me, so I never get rid of them, I only add. We now have a Christmas tree forest, not just a single tree. Lol. It’s gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
This is my first time watching your videos love them. We have a new color theme each year or a type of theme such as rustic, elegance etc that will go with the color. This year we have elegance with white and champagne colors. I love doing this. My hubby not so much as we have different large costco totes with Christmas themes in the garage.
I love the faux tin Christmas tree ornaments! I am going to make some of these, but I will probably add a little frosted glitter to the edges of the tree branches, to give it a little shimmer, from the glow of my tree lights. I love that patina look.
That white circle with the Christmas tree was precious 💕 i would only put the glitter at the bottom at set the tree into the snow. But yours was so pretty 💕
I add new ornaments every year. I have all the ornaments from my kids childhood etc... I would love to make a themed tree... but I just love all of the sentimental ornaments... every ornament has a memory attached
I use my favorite ornaments every year but I also add new ones or new techniques. Lots of ribbon, glittery florals, etc. Keeps it fresh but I want to use my ornaments too!
Just a nice plain star on the tree with glitter 1:10:40 ever where! Really the tin trees. And the wired star!! But I really liked them all!! ❤️❤️❤️Linda Canada
I am very impressed with your ornaments ! They look classy! Not like a child put them together ! Not knocking children’s ornaments , but I’m older and have given all the old ornaments to my kids to use !
I really love All of your ornaments!! I usually make my tree the same. I made lots of felt ornaments years ago and add some special ones here and there! One of my special Angels on the top !
On the paper (book pages) star, you could paint it red, add red glitter and a few small circles of felt and it would resemble a beautiful Christmas poinsettia.
I realize this video is over a year old, but I’m going to post anyway! I do change my ornaments every year. My husband liked multi colored lights, and I love the white. I feel the white is like spotlight on the ornaments. We took turns with the lights and ornament choices. One year I had all only of my blown glass and Radco ornaments, another year I got beautiful red poinsettias, l left the wire stem long and just poked them into the tree branches. The only other thing I put that year were hand crocheted snowflakes. I know there are more beautiful ideas but am having trouble remembering. My husband passed away two weeks before Christmas five years ago and I stopped decorating. It’s too hard. I love all of your ideas, even though I don’t decorate I make ornaments and gift tags to give as gifts. I love everything you made!♥️🙏🏻
So sorry for your loss! I don’t decorate either because my husband’s favorite holiday was Christmas and he passed in 2021! 😞. I left my tree up until February so he could look at it from his hospital bed which was in our living room!
Dollar Tree also sells a big bag of cotton balls for $1.25 and is easy to stuff one cotton ball into a small area and more if you need these and made from pure cotton.
My tree is different every year, l have colllected my decos over the years so have just about every colour. The kids cant wait each year to see the colours. At the start I made my own, still have a lot of them. Loved your ideas, thankyou from Australia
i love all of these adorable ornaments i think the little calendar ornaments are my favorite. I have the same tree every year and add new special memento ornaments each year. I have lots of handmade ornaments from my parents when we were growing up. crafting was always our bonding time at christmas. thanks for sharing your talent.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful ornament ideas. I use the same ornaments year after year, some are old and have been in the family for years and some are ornaments I made for my children when they were small.
Our real tree is all of my family ornaments that we have collected or have been given through the years. Then my artificial tree that I started a few years ago it’s a land of sweets. With the real large ornaments to small I have bought those at Hobby Lobby and Walmart. One thing I do on the family tree to change it up, I change the ribbon and the way it’s placed. When my husband and I first got married we didn’t have many ornaments, so i used my stuff animals especially when there are big gaps.
I keep my favorite ones and add new ones. I take my older ornaments and use them as garlands OR just hang them around the house on door knobs...3M clear hanging on walls. I also last year gave them away on gifts as tags. People really do love an Ornament on a gift box. I have extra's out also and give away as a gift, just by itself for those unexpected visitors. Everyone leaves with a little reminder of them being here! ALSO, gift them out on THANKSGIVING DAY so they can hang them on their tree when they put it up, that year! XOXO Althea
I use the same ornaments every year and add new ones that I make. We’ve been married 53 years so I have a ton of ornaments. But a lot of the older bulbs have gotten broken over the years. Not many of those left.
I just bag my 3' tree, decorations and all, and Put it away. Every year I add my new ornaments and usually remove some old ones. I love your ornaments and I may change my ways.
I love that you add some glitter to your projects it does make it Christmas! I use to do different trees but we are in a small house so the tree is also. I love making crafts, and you alway inspired me!Thanks some much. Terri
Absolutely love you and your ideas! My favorite is the craft stick window frame. Went straight to DT and bought supplies to do this one! Due to a rambunctious lab puppy I lost some ornaments this year, and was so glad to find these new and clever ways to create my own!!
Oh the joys of raising a puppy 😂 good thing they’re so dang cute and we love them way too much! I’m so glad this video helped you. And good luck with your sweet puppy.
We used to just decorate our tree with the same ornaments each year, especially when our kids were small and made homemade ornaments in school. Now the kids are all grown so we changed to a smaller tree. I have enough ornaments saved through the years, that we decorate different each year. One year may be all angels. Next may be all cardinals. Then snowmen or traditional.
I loved what you did to the wood weaved star, I have one and its been sitting in my craft room, now I’m thrilled that I can copy you. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love your calendar ornaments; love the material snowflake; like the JOY ornament, also; the beaded snowflake with bell, is nice; the double sided (snowflake/tree) is darn cute; your star/snowflake is so elegant looking, I wouldn't embellish it any more than you already have; the tags are so nice (I'm the "less is more" type of person); regarding your tree napkin ornament, I was not too sure about the glitter, but when it was finished . . . WOW; liked the way you made the wooden star; Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
I absolutely love all the ornaments. I LOVE glitter. The more, the better, in my book, but I also like Lucky Charms so there's that 😅. I understand that people aren't keen on DT glitter because it flakes so so much. Anyway, the ornament with the napkin tree and glitter is stunning, imo, as is the book page star 😊🎄☃️ ~Laura
We use the same but always adding new ones each year. I added sparkling crystal foliage last year and we found these little crystal ballerinas in different stances. I love them. Gorgeous! Lol I think rhinestones or a larger one in the center would look pretty on your book page star. A Topaz color would look pretty on the tan star even turquoise or aquamarine color stone. Even metal.. like vintage bronze. Have you ever dry brushed? I'm new so forgive me if you've used it in other videos. Thanks, for the video. I need to get motivated! P.S. The napkin tree ornament that you asked what else it needed. I think a ribbon and bow would be nice. At the top where the string is. Shrug 🙋♀️LOL. I just saw this video is 9 mos old.. lol. Wow.. I'm slow
I absolutely love the ornaments with the calendar pictures, they are my favorites. Great job on all of them, I appreciate the time it took for you to share all of these.
Liked all of the ornaments. My favorite is the calendar one. I save my calendars every year. Think i will go through them and try to make some ornaments ornaments like yours. Thanks for all of your great ideas ❤
I love all your ornaments. I usually change my tree, however, I have done the same look with a change in ribbon and maybe different berries or embellishments.
I have a skinny tree. One year I want to have only santa ornaments and red and gold ribbon. I do ceramics and I have a few icicle santas. I ho thrift shopping often. Love your crafts and the trees. New Subscriber.
Wow, great job! I really loved them all. I try to change my tree up a little each year. Thank you for sharing your great talent with us. Have a beautiful and blessed day! 🙏✨🎄
I usually leave my tree somewhat the same but I'm a sucker for new shiny ornaments so if I find a new one I like i buy and hang on tree. I learned a new trick for my tree and when comes time to take down I take a big garbage bag and sit It in there pull sack up as far as it will go then pull another over top so that way I don't have to redecorate every year and then put it away. The next year when i put it upo look at it and decide I i want some new ornaments and every year I find 6 new identical ones and have my 6 grandkids names engraved on so that's 6 new ones every year since they were born. Then if I find some glittery ones I have to buy those but I also hang them up around my doorways into each room so I need a lot of ornaments but I need to get rid of a bunch also. That's what I do each year with my tree. Loved your ornaments.
First time watching your video! I am totally impressed with the quality of your ornaments, very professional! When I was blessed with grandchildren I added an ornament each year with their picture on it until they graduated from high school when I no longer got school pictures each year.
I am sorry to hear that. Are they made at you.?.
Hi Emily, I love all of these ornaments! I sometimes put up different ornaments on our tree, My fav is the paper book star and the craft stick star!

We use the same ornaments every Christmas. My wife and I have collected them for many years and they have special meaning to us.
Same here, I have some that are 38 years old and still use them. My mom made most of those old ones, she passed in 2004, I’ll never get rid of them.
How fun and such a beautiful way to keep memories.
I have many sentimental ornaments I use each year on the tree. But, if I see something new that invokes a sentimental thought, I will buy that and add it either to my tree or hang it somewhere around the house.

I use same ornaments every year and add one or two more. Have my tree for 40 years and love it.
I love the Christmas tree with lots of glitter. Plain and simple but with a glitter kick!
My daughter added old jewelry to the center of star. Gorgeous.

O' and my favorite was the last star. Simple and easy and rustic from childhood making.
Opps, my favorite is the last one, the star from craft sticks!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I use the same ornaments every year and add new ones that I make. We’ve been married 53 years so I have a ton of ornaments. But a lot of the older bulbs have gotten broken over the years. Not many of those left.
Love the wooden beads
My sister would absolutely love receiving your vintage antique looking Santa ornaments! ❤
You are one talented lady! I love your taste….and everything you did was right on and top notch. They look so professional.
This year we are doing more of a French country vintage. Gold and white ornaments with pale pink...
This sounds beautiful 😍
I just bag my 3' tree, decorations and all, and Put it away. Every year I add my new ornaments and usually remove some old ones. I love your ornaments and I may change my ways.

I so love your creativity, you narrate well, and there is not a lot of down time! I will keep watching,
Tyvm for sharing. The vintage paper crafts w metallic pipecleaner frames are perfect. Im excited to try the patina ornaments too.
I'm 70 and I agree! The more glitter the better! My 48 yr old daughter is the same!!!!❤
We use the same but always adding new ones each year. I added sparkling crystal foliage last year and we found these little crystal ballerinas in different stances. I love them. Gorgeous! Lol
I think rhinestones or a larger one in the center would look pretty on your book page star.
I just saw this video is 9 mos old.. lol. Wow.. I'm slow
I absolutely loved this video! I am going to make some of these. Thank you!
Love the calender Ornaments. Using plastic bag for stuffing?..... great idea!
I absolutely love the ornaments with the calendar pictures, they are my favorites. Great job on all of them, I appreciate the time it took for you to share all of these.
Very nicely done. Love them. I change the theme every year. One year snowmen next year buffalo check etc. great job on all
Love the ornaments made from calendars. I keep the same ornaments up but always add one new one from a trip I took that year.
Loved the trees and stars most of all. Very cute ideas. Thanks for sharing ❤
Liked all of the ornaments. My favorite is the calendar one. I save my calendars every year. Think i will go through them and try to make some ornaments ornaments like yours. Thanks for all of your great ideas ❤
These are all gorgeous! I definitely use the same ones. God bless
The round w/ tree, I thought at first a border around the edge… but I love it with the back ground covered in glitter!
I love the DT calendars! ❤ Wish art wasn't coprighted!
I love the glitter on your projects.
The greenery on the Rustic Tree Topper looks like Cedar to me. The one you referred to as Pine.
I love all your ornaments. I usually change my tree, however, I have done the same look with a change in ribbon and maybe different berries or embellishments.
Yes i luv simple ornaments! Luv the beads & bell very much🌲🌲🌲
I normally keep the same ornaments on the tree but will add 1 new one every year. Love your videos and diys
They are so cutethe jingle bells and beads
I have a skinny tree. One year I want to have only santa ornaments and red and gold ribbon. I do ceramics and I have a few icicle santas. I ho thrift shopping often. Love your crafts and the trees. New Subscriber.
Great idea to use the pictures from the BACK of the calendars!!! Waste nothing!!!😊
The double sided ornaments look great
Wow, great job! I really loved them all. I try to change my tree up a little each year. Thank you for sharing your great talent with us. Have a beautiful and blessed day! 🙏✨🎄
Usually change them every year! 🌲🎄
Hi! I'm so glad i found your channel! Yes ELMER'S GLUE will yellow over about 2 years, but I've only really noticed that if it's on white.
These were so cute. I make ornaments to give as gifts because they are fun to make.
Thanks!
You are so sweet!! Thank you 💕 Merry Christmas!!🎄
I love all of these ideas. Thank you so much for sharing them. 💕
