My ideal trilogy: The Super Mario Bros. Movie- just kinda test the waters by using the basics The Super Mario World Movie- flesh out the Mario world with storylines involving Dinosaur Land, Sarasaland, and/or Isle Delfino. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie- the big finale where Bowser tries to conquer the universe, and Mario and friends go on a huge cosmic adventure inspired by the Galaxy series of games.
This is exactly what I hope the Mario Movie trilogy is. Because that slow progression of the Mario universe just makes sense. A lot of people want Galaxy elements for Movie 2, but idk. I feel like there's SO MUCH to explore just with the Mushroom Kingdom planet first. Like all those places you mentioned, plus maybe more. Let Galaxy have its own movie, where it has enough room to breath and explore the space travel concept fully. So either make it the 3rd, or heck, maybe make it the 4th or 5th. Just cause again, the Mushroom Kingdom planet alone has SOOO many places that could make a good movie beforehand. (With Luigi's Mansion, DK, & Wario Land/Ware being spinoff movies or series if they happens. )
Princess Daisy is my number one predication for the Mario Movie Universe (MMU); her attraction to Luigi, her friendship with Peach, her kingdom Sarasaland and how she rules it, I want them to break it all down
Keep in mind the leaked storyboard that was trending on social media a while back. It showed Luigi and Mario in kind of a desert bazaar setting and I think Nintendo took it down (which could indicate that it's an actual storyboard from the movie) so I think it's fairly safe to assume that Sarasaland will be the primary setting of the sequel. Plus I think they will want to save Galaxy for a potential third movie.
I was saying If they did the story of Princess Daisy it can set up a Mario Galaxy movie because the end boss was an Alien which after defeated could land at Bowsers castle and see Bowser flying into Space in an after credit cut scene. Also add Wario as a Gag Character in the background or make it so that he steals Marios Castle like in the game because that was also part of the plot. Toadette should be Daisy's Sidekick too like Toad is for the Mario Group.
I would love to see a prison scene woth the possibility of seeing nabbit in a cell or even breaking out, just as a small cameo, as much as I love Nabbit I dont see him playing any major roles in the movies but I can always have hope
The location for the lore will be the “dinosaur kingdom” from super Mario world on the snes…. That’s why the egg was teased and would allow yoshi to be the focal point of the story
I’d love to see Warrio and Waluigi trying to scam people of their coins in like a small town area, but not exactly being the main antagonists, maybe they scammed coins from Mario and then Mario has to fight back and get them back, but as a scene in the movie and after they are defeated they have to tell Mario where their coins went and they find out Bowser made an offer to Wario to scam Mario of his coins. Maybe Bowser used the coins to make an extra helicopter for Bowser Jr. and perhaps for the other Koopalings, too. Or he just wanted the coins to gamble against someone. I think a silly deep cut they could do is Bowser telling his Koopalings they’re adopted, each having their own personality and reaction. If it takes place in Delfino then it should be a vacation kind of movie, maybe they bump into Daisy! I wouldn’t really want a Galaxy movie yet, although the first one is my favorite Mariogame. I think it wouldn’t really be as good adapted into a movie, but they could also just put Rosalina at Delfino, where she’s just vibing or whatever, I would also like there to be some lore added to Bowser and for when they travel to an area for there to be challenges like every Mario level, and I don’t want any more Donkey Kong characters stealing the show because they kind of made the first movie “Mario + Donkey Kong the movie” and I think a Donkey Kong movie shouldn’t come out yet either, the first Mario movie has probably left fans wanting more Mario because it felt so focused on the Kongs
Well, while we wait for the Mario movie sequel in 2 years, I would like to see Princess Daisy added, as well as Rosalina too. Definitely also want to see Sarasaland too. For now, we'll STILL have to wait and see.
I don't know if anyone caught this music easter egg but when mario is going through the multiple pipes you can hear the start of bowser's theme from mario galaxy.

What I think would be totally awesome would be if something similar to the first mario RPG happened. Some big magic item breaks and spreads around to areas. It would be awesome if Mario went to Isle Delfino, Luigi went to the Mansion, Peach went to Sarasaland, etc, all in search for the shards of some magic star. It would be perfect, but would have to be about 1:30 to fit in all the storylines.
Daisy will be there for sure. It's the logical next step. She's so close to Peach and Luigi in the games, so they wouldn't ignore her existence in a sequel. Besides, we know that they are gonna want to push more female characters in addition to Peach, and Daisy fits the bill.
The things I would like to see in the next movie is more action, adventure and epic moments, and that this time Luigi can do something since he is getting to know the mushroom world as his brother, I want it to have a really cool plot I don't care if it's about rescuing Princess Peach (She will always be my favorite 💗), I hope the script of the scenes is at least funny, and that Wario, Waluigi and Daisy appear too, Wario and Waluigi as Anti-Heroes and Daisy has the role of helping the bros against Bowser or Bowser Jr. And I want to see again Toadsworth as a adoptive father of Peach and King.
Bowser jr. and the Koopalings are the iconic enemies in the Mario bros franchise each of them have unique, wacky characteristic and personalities. I'm predicting in the next super Mario bros sequel they might add them since Bowser is out of commission.
@@skullgamer64 Agree. I’m thinking like Super Mario Sunshine Bowser convinces Bowser Jr Peach is his mother who was kidnapped by Mario. So he along with the Koopalings, Wario, and Waluigi try to destroy Mario and Luigi’s good reputation. Bowser Jr would get the paintbrush from Professor E Gadd. Of course Bowser would feel increasingly guilty for lying and Bowser Jr would reveal he knew all along. I can imagine Jack Black doing a scene like that scene with Bowser and Bowser Jr from Super Mario Sunshine.

It would make the most sense to incorporate Yoshi as a main plot line given the post credits. They might even give him more than just noises for dialogue given that some of Bowser's minions have voice actors with lines. I'm curious to see how they incorporate Bowser into the sequel, like if he's gonna be the main villain at all. If he is, I could see a story where the main characters are off exploring one of the other worlds, but then Boswer hatches a plan to have his people come rescue him. Namely, Kamek, Bowser Jr., and the Koopalings. By having Bowser play the piano, it's already setting up Ludwig, who's based on Ludwig von Beethoven. As far as the protagonists go, I truly don't have a solid idea what they'll pull for the overarching story. We've already established the worlds and galaxies concepts, and they beautifully melded so many together in the first movie. Brooklyn, 64, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, plus they have a whole map in the war room. That would be my guess of where to start looking for hints, but obviously they could go beyond that.

I watched The Super Mario Bros 2023 movie in this year march 10 yes Mar10day when it's sequel revealved coming to 2026 what was the perfect time to watch it for the first time and here's things and characters that I hope to see from The Super Mario Bros movie 2: It's about Super Mario Galaxy games because Peach talked about "There's the whole BIG Universe to explore" and these new characters: Bowser Jr and Rosalina, it would be nice if Mario movie 2 is about Super Mario Sunshine where Toadsworth and Bowser Jr appears, but if it's not about only the games I just wan't to see all these characters: Bowser Jr, Koopalings, Wario, Waluigi, Geno, Rosalina and Daisy I know it's risky to hope to see these characters like Geno and Waluigi, but even some of they would be fine and references like Cappy would be AWESOME too The Super Mario Bros 2 just as Chris Praty Mario say: Here we come! I think the same here, the first one is really cool, but it's true and you're totally right, the plot is too fast and Luigi needs to get into action more.
Galaxy has a lot more credibility being present, seeing as how they turned Peach's backstory into a parallel of Rosalina's, practically setting them up to be some form of family which has always made sense to me, the lack of cohesive structure with Mario lore being the outstanding issue. I'd love to see Bowsette, really throw the fandom for a loop

I mean, it kind of makes sense that the first movie didn't go too crazy on story. The first one sets up the main characters and setting. Then future installments get to build up from there. Imagine if the future of the Mario animated universe sees Cookie Jar Group (current owner of DiC's old IPs) pitching a possible new Mario series to Nintendo and Universal that follows the version of the Mario world that Illumination's films created.
I think that Nintendo should do the MCU strategy and introduce a lot of their iconic characters before having them come together in a crossover, which would be Super Smash Bros.
My theory is that Nintendo will take inspiration from the Spider-Verse movies. By that, I mean the movies will revolve around 3 major characters, and the supporting cast will change in every installment. Spider-Verse has Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker as the main trio. The first movie "Into" had Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir and SP/dr as their supporting characters. The sequel "Across" replaced them with Miguel O'Hara and Pavitr Parker. The Mario movies will revolve around Mario, Luigi and Peach. The first movie had them with Toad and Donkey Kong. The sequel with replace Toad and DK with Yoshi and Daisy.

I got some ideas about this sequel movie that I want to give to Nintendo. It’s on this petition that I would like all of you to sign. Here’s the plot: It’s about this: After Toadsworth is awake and is going to reveal both the Mario Bros., the Mario Bros’ father, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong & his dad, all of the Kongs, Spike, Pauline and all of the people of Brooklyn something underneath Peach’s Castle. Toadsworth shows an underground mural that shows 2 brave knights vanquishing the Evil Koopa Clan and eventually the evil aliens known as shroobs, protecting the Mushroom Kingdom and its rulers. Toadsworth tells the crew that those 2 knights were actually some of the Mario Bros’ ancestors. I believed that after I studied some Deviantart pictures and the series of Yoshis’ Island. The Mario Bros’ father had then protected the Mushroom Kingdom too and kept that legacy a secret from those 2 and pretended he didn’t protect the land yet make fun of our heroes’ height and getting the job as plumbers. There’s more to tell about the mural which is about Princess Peach herself, about her parents and her ancestors were actually rulers of the Mushroom Kingdom. One fateful day when the shroobs and the koopas were stealing the Mushroom Kingdom while Princess Peach was yet to be born, her parents moved to the real world and have their champion, the Mario Bros.’ father himself, led the militia to vanquish the enemy while his wife (Mario’s mother) and Toadsworth moved the 2 baby Mario Bros. to the real world in Brooklyn. Both the Mario Bros, Mario & Luigi (Present), Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, and all the others couldn’t believe all of this. Princess Peach then apologized to Mario for doubting him and his height when they first met in the present day. He and his brother, Luigi, couldn’t believe they were fated to carry such a heavy destiny that involves protecting the Mushroom Kingdom from the Evil Koopas and their leader, King Bowser Koopa himself, fighting for Justice. All of the Mushroom Kingdom’s citizens, guards and council apologized to the Mario Bros too for not recognizing them as the descendants of those champions. Meanwhile, Bowser had escaped with the help of Kamek and his Koopalings including Bowser Jr. Bowser remembered where he heard the names Mario and Luigi. It was back when he was a kid when Kamek was trying to steal the Mario Bros when they were babies under the watchful eye of the Yoshis. Kamek had no choice but to use his memory spell on Bowser back then and now Bowser ordered Kamek to never use that spell again. Back at the Mushroom Kingdom, the Mario Bros. remembered that it was Yoshi, who somehow we all seen in the post credits after the 1st movie, who was responsible for keeping an eye on those 2 back when they were babies besides Toadsworth. Yoshi wanted to help the Mario Bros as well to stop Bowser just like in their past with his usual powers: his tongue, throwing eggs, and so on. A 3rd thing that the mural has is the Mario Bros’ and Wario Bros’ ancestors left behind a few gates that leads to special trials all over the Mushroom Kingdom that their descendants must face ahead of them. One of the Trials awaits the Mario Bros in Sarashaland, guarded by some of the soldiers who belong to Sarashaland’s Princess - Daisy, Princess Peach’s childhood friend. Daisy is so so happy to see Peach again and joined the crew on this quest. Once bothe the Mario Bros passed all of the trials, only then their descendants which are none other than Mario and Luigi of the Mario Bros. including Wario and Waluigi will be recognized by the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom as descendants of those champions. The 2 and other 2 accepted those trials. After passing all of the trials and obtaining spiritual growth, Mario and Luigi are rewarded with powers that enhances themselves and their clothes, including really powerful hammers that can destroy all Evil. Another reward is that all of the Super Stars including that one in that movie we saw has been upgraded with purity so that those stars can only be used for Good, knowing that Bowser wanted that Star all for himself and his dark purposes and our heroes including their ancestors couldn’t let those stars fall into the wrong hands. That’s why those Stars have been upgraded in order to only be used for the side of Justice. For Wario and Waluigi, they will have all the treasure they can get from Bowser’s vault if they succeed in kicking his butt. What do you think of this idea? I doubt Daisy lives on Peach's world. Peach was so surprised to see another human when she met Mario, its not likely another human princess is the ruler of a neighboring kingdom. If Daisy even appears in a future movie (which is not guaranteed), she will probably be on another world all together, not Mario's Earth or Peach's Mushroom Planet.
Daisy is a princess of an empire that's far away from the MK. Besides, Peach never said that she never saw another human besides Mario; humans are so rare that of course she was shocked. This does not rule out Daisy's existence, who is almost guaranteed for the sequel.

I like Daisy just as much as anyone but I'm not setting myself up for disappointment. the only character almost guaranteed for the sequel is Yoshi because of the post credit scene, and perhaps Rosalina due to the Luma in the first movie. Also, Sarasaland has never been called an Empire, that's a fan established term to make it sound more badass and differentiate it from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Her flower emblem is in the background of the first movie poster (easter egg). 3.Daisy has been getting pushed in more major roles in recent years by Nintendo. 4.She is an old favorite (as Key described in the interview) and logically, she's next in line to appear due to her significance and connections to Peach and Luigi. They are gonna push more female characters for sure besides Peach. With all of that said, I'll say that Daisy is 100% guaranteed to be in the movie!

Mind you, I am saying this not because I prefer Rosalina to Daisy (I actually like Daisy more), but the hint of "galaxy" in one of Peach's lines and the major character of Lumalee. Plus Rosalina probably opens up more story potential compared to Daisy - Rosalina can take them to space vs Daisy is just alt Peach. But truly the only character with 100% guarantee to be in the movie is Mario himself. Peach, Luigi, and Bowser are 99% likely going to appear. Everyone one, its best to not get your hopes up until we get a voice cast announcement.

Sarasaland is four empire kingdom not a desert. People never play mario land.
They could make some liberties with the movie when it comes out.

Well, while we wait for the Mario movie sequel in 2 years, I would like to see Princess Daisy added, as well as Rosalina too. Definitely also want to see Sarasaland too. For now, we'll STILL have to wait and see.

What I think would be totally awesome would be if something similar to the first mario RPG happened. Some big magic item breaks and spreads around to areas. It would be awesome if Mario went to Isle Delfino, Luigi went to the Mansion, Peach went to Sarasaland, etc, all in search for the shards of some magic star. It would be perfect, but would have to be about 1:30 to fit in all the storylines.
I'm really hoping that we see the long anticipated team up of Rango and Fawful.
Daisy will be there for sure. It's the logical next step. She's so close to Peach and Luigi in the games, so they wouldn't ignore her existence in a sequel. Besides, we know that they are gonna want to push more female characters in addition to Peach, and Daisy fits the bill.
The things I would like to see in the next movie is more action, adventure and epic moments, and that this time Luigi can do something since he is getting to know the mushroom world as his brother, I want it to have a really cool plot I don't care if it's about rescuing Princess Peach (She will always be my favorite 💗), I hope the script of the scenes is at least funny, and that Wario, Waluigi and Daisy appear too, Wario and Waluigi as Anti-Heroes and Daisy has the role of helping the bros against Bowser or Bowser Jr. And I want to see again Toadsworth as a adoptive father of Peach and King.

Bowser jr. and the Koopalings are the iconic enemies in the Mario bros franchise each of them have unique, wacky characteristic and personalities. I'm predicting in the next super Mario bros sequel they might add them since Bowser is out of commission.

So he along with the Koopalings, Wario, and Waluigi try to destroy Mario and Luigi’s good reputation. Bowser Jr would get the paintbrush from Professor E Gadd. Of course Bowser would feel increasingly guilty for lying and Bowser Jr would reveal he knew all along. as much as i injoyed the movie, its much more than just the story that lacked
It would make the most sense to incorporate Yoshi as a main plot line given the post credits. They might even give him more than just noises for dialogue given that some of Bowser's minions have voice actors with lines. I'm curious to see how they incorporate Bowser into the sequel, like if he's gonna be the main villain at all. If he is, I could see a story where the main characters are off exploring one of the other worlds, but then Boswer hatches a plan to have his people come rescue him. Namely, Kamek, Bowser Jr., and the Koopalings. By having Bowser play the piano, it's already setting up Ludwig, who's based on Ludwig von Beethoven. As far as the protagonists go, I truly don't have a solid idea what they'll pull for the overarching story. We've already established the worlds and galaxies concepts, and they beautifully melded so many together in the first movie. Brooklyn, 64, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, plus they have a whole map in the war room. That would be my guess of where to start looking for hints, but obviously they could go beyond that.
The post credits scene was a nod to the end of the 1998 Godzilla movie and has nothing to do with a plot for the next movie lol

I watched The Super Mario Bros 2023 movie in this year march 10 yes Mar10day when it's sequel revealved coming to 2026 what was the perfect time to watch it for the first time and here's things and characters that I hope to see from The Super Mario Bros movie 2: It's about Super Mario Galaxy games because Peach talked about "There's the whole BIG Universe to explore" and these new characters: Bowser Jr and Rosalina, it would be nice if Mario movie 2 is about Super Mario Sunshine where Toadsworth and Bowser Jr appears, but if it's not about only the games I just wan't to see all these characters: Bowser Jr, Koopalings, Wario, Waluigi, Geno, Rosalina and Daisy I know it's risky to hope to see these characters like Geno and Waluigi, but even some of they would be fine and references like Cappy would be AWESOME too The Super Mario Bros 2 just as Chris Praty Mario say: Here we come!

My theory is that Nintendo will take inspiration from the Spider-Verse movies. By that, I mean the movies will revolve around 3 major characters, and the supporting cast will change in every installment.
Spider-Verse has Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker as the main trio. The first movie "Into" had Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir and SP/dr as their supporting characters. The sequel "Across" replaced them with Miguel O'Hara and Pavitr Parker.
The Mario movies will revolve around Mario, Luigi and Peach. The first movie had them with Toad and Donkey Kong. The sequel with replace Toad and DK with Yoshi and Daisy.

I got some ideas about this sequel movie that I want to give to Nintendo. It’s on this petition that I would like all of you to sign. Here’s the plot: It’s about this: After Toadsworth is awake and is going to reveal both the Mario Bros., the Mario Bros’ father, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong & his dad, all of the Kongs, Spike, Pauline and all of the people of Brooklyn something underneath Peach’s Castle.
Toadsworth shows an underground mural that shows 2 brave knights vanquishing the Evil Koopa Clan and eventually the evil aliens known as shroobs, protecting the Mushroom Kingdom and its rulers. Toadsworth tells the crew that those 2 knights were actually some of the Mario Bros’ ancestors. I believed that after I studied some Deviantart pictures and the series of Yoshis’ Island. The Mario Bros’ father had then protected the Mushroom Kingdom too and kept that legacy a secret from those 2 and pretended he didn’t protect the land yet make fun of our heroes’ height and getting the job as plumbers.
There’s more to tell about the mural which is about Princess Peach herself, about her parents and her ancestors were actually rulers of the Mushroom Kingdom. One fateful day when the shroobs and the koopas were stealing the Mushroom Kingdom while Princess Peach was yet to be born, her parents moved to the real world and have their champion, the Mario Bros.’ father himself, led the militia to vanquish the enemy while his wife (Mario’s mother) and Toadsworth moved the 2 baby Mario Bros. to the real world in Brooklyn. Both the Mario Bros, Mario & Luigi (Present), Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, and all the others couldn’t believe all of this.
Princess Peach then apologized to Mario for doubting him and his height when they first met in the present day. He and his brother, Luigi, couldn’t believe they were fated to carry such a heavy destiny that involves protecting the Mushroom Kingdom from the Evil Koopas and their leader, King Bowser Koopa himself, fighting for Justice. All of the Mushroom Kingdom’s citizens, guards and council apologized to the Mario Bros too for not recognizing them as the descendants of those champions.
Meanwhile, Bowser had escaped with the help of Kamek and his Koopalings including Bowser Jr. Bowser remembered where he heard the names Mario and Luigi. It was back when he was a kid when Kamek was trying to steal the Mario Bros when they were babies under the watchful eye of the Yoshis. Kamek had no choice but to use his memory spell on Bowser back then and now Bowser ordered Kamek to never use that spell again.
Back at the Mushroom Kingdom, the Mario Bros. remembered that it was Yoshi, who somehow we all seen in the post credits after the 1st movie, who was responsible for keeping an eye on those 2 back when they were babies besides Toadsworth. The mural also shows 2 more knights who fought along side the Mario Bros’ ancestors, who were kind of rouge. It’s the ancestors of Wario and Waluigi. They wanted to be with the 2 heroes, working together to stop Bowser. Yoshi wanted to help the Mario Bros as well to stop Bowser just like in their past with his usual powers: his tongue, throwing eggs, and so on.
A 3rd thing that the mural has is the Mario Bros’ and Wario Bros’ ancestors left behind a few gates that leads to special trials all over the Mushroom Kingdom that their descendants must face ahead of them. One of the Trials awaits the Mario Bros in Sarashaland, guarded by some of the soldiers who belong to Sarashaland’s Princess - Daisy, Princess Peach’s childhood friend. Daisy is so so happy to see Peach again and joined the crew on this quest. Once bothe the Mario Bros passed all of the trials, only then their descendants which are none other than Mario and Luigi of the Mario Bros. including Wario and Waluigi will be recognized by the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom as descendants of those champions. The 2 and other 2 accepted those trials.
After passing all of the trials and obtaining spiritual growth, Mario and Luigi are rewarded with powers that enhances themselves and their clothes, including really powerful hammers that can destroy all Evil. Another reward is that all of the Super Stars including that one in that movie we saw has been upgraded with purity so that those stars can only be used for Good, knowing that Bowser wanted that Star all for himself and his dark purposes and our heroes including their ancestors couldn’t let those stars fall into the wrong hands. That’s why those Stars have been upgraded in order to only be used for the side of Justice. For Wario and Waluigi, they will have all the treasure they can get from Bowser’s vault if they succeed in kicking his butt.

I doubt Daisy lives on Peach's world. Peach was so surprised to see another human when she met Mario, its not likely another human princess is the ruler of a neighboring kingdom. If Daisy even appears in a future movie (which is not guaranteed), she will probably be on another world all together, not Mario's Earth or Peach's Mushroom Planet.
Daisy is a princess of an empire that's far away from the MK. Besides, Peach never said that she never saw another human besides Mario; humans are so rare that of course she was shocked. This does not rule out Daisy's existence, who is almost guaranteed for the sequel.

I like Daisy just as much as anyone but I'm not setting myself up for disappointment. the only character almost guaranteed for the sequel is Yoshi because of the post credit scene, and perhaps Rosalina due to the Luma in the first movie.
Also, Sarasaland has never been called an Empire, that's a fan established term to make it sound more badass and differentiate it from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Her flower emblem is in the background of the first movie poster (easter egg). 3.Daisy has been getting pushed in more major roles in recent years by Nintendo. 4.She is an old favorite (as Key described in the interview) and logically, she's next in line to appear due to her significance and connections to Peach and Luigi. They are gonna push more female characters for sure besides Peach.
With all of that said, I'll say that Daisy is 100% guaranteed to be in the movie!

Mind you, I am saying this not because I prefer Rosalina to Daisy (I actually like Daisy more), but the hint of "galaxy" in one of Peach's lines and the major character of Lumalee. Plus Rosalina probably opens up more story potential compared to Daisy - Rosalina can take them to space vs Daisy is just alt Peach.
But truly the only character with 100% guarantee to be in the movie is Mario himself. Peach, Luigi, and Bowser are 99% likely going to appear. Everyone one, its best to not get your hopes up until we get a voice cast announcement.
