Can't wait to get season 3 in a few months when it re-releases. I wouldn't be surprised if they re-released season 4 at the end of this year and season 5 by spring of next year, then the 90s movies in a movie pack/collection as well. I wonder if they will re-release crystal along with the new movies as well (as there's no official DVD of the English dub yet, but would love to see it)
Yeah, your suggested timeline for seasons 4 & 5 matches what I was thinking a possible timeline might work out like. That said, they could well want try and get all the remaining sets out before the end of the year to link in with the holiday gift giving season. (But that's very much me just speculating.)
As for the movies, that may come down what the terms of their licensing contract is as to whether that is possible or not - without trying to get too granular about it, in many cases movies of a franchise either are or technically are a separate license. So there's sometimes extra red tape (for want of a better phrase) with that.
I'm sure they'd like to release Crystal and/or the new movies in a similar style to these season sets, but again, it may come down to terms of licensing on if that's possible.
Were Super S and Stars “bad” with their blu ray releases? I know season 1 and R, and to a lesser extent, Super, had their issues with the initial blu ray release. I didn’t really see any complaints about Super S and Stars.
Sorry for the damage on your case personally I would have returned it and got a new one. Season three drops in a few weeks. I pre-ordered it a few months ago
Yeah, you’re not the only person to have said that. (Just a lot of hassle involved with returning it from the UK is all.) I might end up getting another copy at some point if I can get it for a decent price.
And yes, looking forward to season 3 too! Hopefully it won’t be too loving before I get my copy as well.

Yeah, certainly some rotten luck with those. Literally no way of knowing about the ones on the front especially. Was really hoping the big one on the back might have just been a load of dirt on the cellophane or similar.

If I personally received that copy, I would send it straight back. 😅 I kept the sticker, in fact I bought two copies and I placed the other sticker on season 1 to match, the other copy was for a friend lol I slowly removed it from the wrapper and placed it on the sleeve hehe but it would drive me crazy if mine had "made in Mexico" on it like yours 😅
Yeah, you're not wrong. I should be probably be more annoyed than I actually am about this to be honest; I'm a stickler for those details. But I am genuinely happy I've got this release :)
The effort involved to have had to send back and get a replacement was too off putting a prospect for me, to be honest - I'm based in the UK, and I bought this from a site in the U.S.
Buying multiple copies is something I've considered doing in the past, but there's a lot of cost (and potential additional customs) costs involved that too.
@@jeraffemy yeah I figured as much customs would be an issue. I used to live in London i know how it is, now in living Portugal and customs are much much much worse. I definitely would ask for a partial refund or something like that lol that little blob on the front I would try to cover it up with the sticker lol and with the back, have you tried some rubbing alcohol. Maybe that black mark might come off.
I haven't tried any rubbing alcohol or similar now you mention it. Thanks for the suggestion! I might give it a try, but I don't want to potentially damage it further 😅 (I suppose at least in that instance it would actually be damaged I cause then, ha ha)
